Sia's eyes fluttered open as she looked from Justin's shoulder, at an uncomfortable Ashton.
She didn't realize for how long she had been hugging Justin but it was time to let go now.
She slowly removed her hands from his back and placed them between them trying to softly push Justin away.
Justin was in a daze. He knew there was a lot to deal with, once they pulled away so he wanted to stay like that forever.
He wanted her to stay in his embrace as long as possible
"Justin... " She whispered as she made enough gap between them
He finally opened his eyes, looking at her and then looking around.
"Sia.. " He whispered back not knowing what to say
Sia shook her head, she knew both of them felt a certain way
A way that has proved to be dangerous for her.
And she decided to not fall into this vicious cycle of unanswered feelings, feelings that lead to nowhere.
Feelings that only hurt her.
"What are you doing here? " She asked, trying to mask her nervousness with a soft smile
"I-" Justin had almost forgotten about the real reason he was here. He was here to simply get the CCTV footage and nothing else.
But that didn't matter to him right now.
He's finally found what he's been looking for.
He's found Sia.
And only that mattered.
That was until Somebody spoke from behind him, pulling him out of his trance.
"She asked you something bro"
He turned to look at that same cafe guy who was still standing where he'd left him.
Why wasn't he leaving?
Wait, did he live here?
And if he did, then
Why was Sia here?
Something in his heart dropped, it felt as if his heart had been pierced. He looked at Sia who didn't say anything and just looked at him as if expecting an answer. He tried to search for any kind of emotions in her eyes. Anything that showed that she was feeling what he felt too.
But her eyes were blank.
"W-why are you with him? " Sia knew she would have to explain him everything but she surely didn't expect this to be the first thing he'd say to her . His eyes held a hope in them as if asking her to confirm that there was nothing going on. And she wanted that too.
She wanted to justify that Ashton was just her roommate and they were purely platonic.
