Kass was determined to put an end to the avoidance. She needed an answer, and damnit, she was going to get one. She snuck out to the backyard and waded through the acre of knee-high grass til she reached the Grey's front door. She was aware of the late hour and knocked on the door instead of ringing the bell, and waited.

The door opened and a petite woman wearing a housekeeper's uniform stood there with a smile on her face.

"Good evening. My name is Kass." Kass introduced. She waited for the woman to do the same.

Her parents brought her up to treat everyone with respect, whether it be the garbage man or your Aunt Susan.

"Hi, Miss Kass. I'm Nancy. Are you here to see Mr. Kody?"

Kass nodded and Nancy opened to door to let her in. She closed the door and motioned to the large staircase before them.

"He's in his bedroom. Last one at the end of the hall." Nancy gave her another smile and left her standing there.

Kass slid off her shoes and taking a deep breath she climbed the stairs. There was one door on the right hand side and a hallway on the left with three doors. Two doors sat opposite eachother and the last faced the same way as the front door. She knew that was his room. Not bothering to knock, she opened the door.

"Nancy, I told you not to bother me while I was working out."

Kass didn't reply. Instead, she closed the door quietly and walked into the room, taking everything in. His walls were stormy blue, with dark wooden shelves mounted to them. A few large pictures hung on the wall opposite his bed, one of a motorcycle. A lamp sat on the nightstand beside his bed, which was against the wall and close to a door she assumed was the bathroom.

The last half of his room had been converted into a mini gym. There was a treadmill, a bowflex and a workout bench. Weights were stacked on a metal shelf in the corner by the large window that showed the wide balcony he would watch her from.

Taking a seat on his bed, she watched him as he worked out on the bowflex, his muscles rippling as he moved. Sweat ran down his back and Kass' eyes followed the drops as they disappeared under his shorts.

He's so hot when he works out.

"Why are you avoiding me?"

Kody paused his exercise and his body tensed. "Go home, Kass." He didn't turn around to look at her and continued with his task.

"So you just take my virginity and never see me again?" She demanded, jumping to her feet.

Kody whirled around to face her. A pained look crossed his face. "I don't want to hurt you."

"You didn't until these last couple weeks. I know you wouldn't intentionally hurt me, Ko." She said softly. She gave him a small smile. "So what happened then?"

"You were drunk. I took advantage of you."

Kass shook her head. "I was drinking. I wasn't drunk." She slowly approached him and reached out to hold one of his hands. "I was sober. And I wanted you. I've wanted you for a while. And I know you wanted me too."

"Kass," he rubbed his free hand over his face and swore.

She moved closer to him, trailing a finger down his neck and over his shoulder.

"Who is there better for me than you?" She whispered.

She stood on her tippy toes and kissed the corner of his mouth. She felt his resolve soften and she starting kissing his jaw. He groaned, grabbing her by the back of the neck and slammed his mouth against hers. He kissed her furiously, like his life depended on it. Like he would drown if he didn't and she kissed him back with the same fervour.
