The Decision

A Cosy Hufflepuff Welcome

It's roughly been an hour and I look around the room noticing everyone else is asleep. I creep over to Addisons bed and try to shake her awake. After a couple of tries I get extremely frustrated and start whispering down her ear : "Addison I swear to god wake up," or "Come on Addi, Cedric's waiting."

After a few tries she finally budges and gives me one of those looks that says 'Can you go away'. I pull her out of bed and remind her that Cedric wanted us to meet him in the common room. I quickly pull my burgundy and black 'Take chances hoodie' over my head and motion for Addison to follow me.

We slowly peek out of the door to check if anyone is in the corridor and there standing waiting for us is Katrina.

"Took you long enough." she giggles.

We follow Katrina down the spiral stairs until we reach the common room where Cedric is waiting with what looks like large mugs of Hot chocolate: coated with whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and marshmallows.

"Hi, I thought you needed a proper Hufflepuff welcome so we can chat and get to know each other more." Cedric proudly announced.

"Oh my gosh thank you Cedric," I say.

As we get closer I can see: a large mountain of blankets and cushions; cookies and steaming cups of hot chocolate. (This night seems absolutely amazing).

"Cedric this is amazing," Addison spoke excitedly.

"Ok so my idea was we make a bit of a fort," Kat says hesitantly.

"Oh my gosh yes please" I announce.

We grab a couple of the chairs from around the multiple tables in the room and drape many of the blankets that Kat had gathered over the chairs. Then we grab the cushions and pile them up to make a really large cosy area. Grabbing the cookies and hot chocolate and sharing them around.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate it!" I exclaim. We all get comfy and start talking about our homes. Cedric is from a wizarding family and so is Addison. But like me Katrina grew up in the Muggle world. She lives in Canada so not that far away.

"That just leaves you Alex, what is your family like?" Addison smiles at me.

"Um well my dads this really big inventor or mechanic and my mom is his second in command but now owns his business if that makes sense. Um I have quite a few aunties and uncles that all live with us and I'm from New York. Funnily enough, my mom only told me she was a witch a couple of weeks ago when McGonigal appeared at my house, I kind of miss them you know."

"Yeah but when you're at school we are your family," Katrina hugs me.

"Group hug!" Addison squeals and we all burst out laughing.

I love these guys already but somewhere in the back of my head I still miss the chaos at home.

Bonus Chapter!!!! 

This chapter is one of the most cringiest things I've ever written so sorry about that.

Ok so I got bored and wanted to continue a bit of the story so you got an extra chapter for this month.
