The next morning, I woke up to feel an arm over me. Turning around, I saw that Richie had his arm draped over me. His mouth was a little open and his hair was tousled from sleep. Normally, Richie just automatically looked like a fucking idiot. But in such a natural state, he looked so peaceful. And kinda cute. Wait. Ew. I did not just think that. Gross. Never. No way no how.
I kicked Richie away from me, making him wake up with a start.
"What the fuck?" Richie woke up with a start.
"Sorry." I jumped out of bed.
I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I happened to have a packaged toothbrush that I gave to Richie. Just then, the phone rang. I picked it up. "Hello? Larson residence speaking."
"October?" came a shaky voice. "It's me Beverly. Can you come over to my house? I need to show you and the others something."
"Of course Bev, Richie and I will be there soon." I answered, hanging up.
"Where will we be?" asked Richie.
"Beverly." I said. "She sounded scared."
We got onto our bikes, picked up Bill, and started biking to Beverly's house.
Bill looked confused as to why Richie was with me, but he didn't ask anything.
On the way we also picked up the rest of the guys. Soon we arrived at Beverly's. She ran down the stairs to meet us.
"You made it!" she said. "I-I need to show you something."
"What is it?" asked Ben.
"More than we saw at the quarry?" asked Richie.
"Shut the fuck up Tozier!" I said.
"My dad will kill me if he finds out I had boys over." Beverly looked worried.
"W-w-we'll leave a lookout." Bill said. "R-R-Richie, October....stay here."
Richie stuck out his arms. "Woah woah woah, what if her dad comes back?"
"Do what you always do!" Stan said. "Start talking!"
"It's a gift!" Richie called out weakly.
I sighed and leaned against my bike as the guys disappeared up the stairs with Beverly. "Well that's nice."
"Jeez, why does Bill always make us stay together?" Richie got on his bike and started doing circles around me.
"I dunno." I shrugged. "Watch it you were about to run over my foot asshole."
"Boo hoo so sad." he stopped his bike in front of me.
I kicked his bike hard, causing him to fall over. I started laughing.
"Hey!" he groaned. "Not funny Larson!"
"It was very funny to me." I grinned.
Richie sighed dramatically and laid on the grass. I laid down next to him.
Richie smacked my arm. "You know what that cloud looks like?" he pointed up at a moving cloud.
"No."
"A dick." he responded.
I snorted. "Everything is always related to dicks with you Tozier."
"What about that one?" he pointed to another one.
It just looked like a regular old cloud to me. "Let me guess, another dick."
"No. Tits."
He said it so casually, I burst out laughing. "It looks nothing like tits!" I wheezed, clutching onto my stomach and gasping for breath.
