No more responses came from the man behind you as the boat made it's way to your destination. When you'd glanced behind your back, you couldn't tell whether Scaramouche was asleep or not.
His head was dipped low enough for his hat to cover his face, blocking you from seeing his expression. You simply figured he was asleep.
It made sense, as now it was just the full moon showing you the way. It was quite a calming night. To your left, there was the distant thunder that never stopped. It's noise was frightening at first, as even on Watatsumi it could be heard during the depths of the night, when the camp would be so, so quiet.
Now, it'd become a comfort for you. Autopilot took over your body as you began to zone out. Unsure how much time had passed, Yashiori finally felt like it was less than ten minutes worth of steering away.
"Stop here." Scaramouche spoke up. You looked behind you again, and he was staring right at you.
"Yes, milord."Taking the key out, the engine stopped. Without a word, Scaramouche tapped on the seat he was sitting on. He took off his hat, carefully setting it onto the ground. You did the same with all of the luggage you were carrying.
The seat was wide enough to fit the both of you, though it'd be a little cramped. You sat down. Scaramouche's outer thigh was touching yours, when he suddenly placed his hand on your cheek, the one that wasn't facing him.
Feeling Scaramouche gently pull your head against him, letting you rest against his shoulder.
"Sleep." He murmured quietly. His hand slid down from your cheek, as he was about to place it on his own lap. You stopped him, and brought his hand to your head. You were so relaxed that it didn't even register how Scaramouche's body didn't give off any warmth.
Scaramouche took the hint, and began to slowly pat your hair, lulling you into a deep, peaceful rest.

The morning sun shone through the window, waking you and the Harbinger up at the same time. A weight was lifted off of your head as you felt him stirring awake, looking at the window. During your sleep, the boat had floated the way it was supposed to. It was stuck in the sand, unmoving.
Your lord stood up, and rummaged through your bag. You were busy dozing off, though stopped immediately when a soft mass hit your chest. You caught it easily. Scaramouche had hurled some bandages at you, and nodded to your injured hand. "Replace those."
You grimaced at the sight of your wound once the bandages came undone. The gash had closed up, but it wasn't a pretty sight. It was a struggle to replace the soft cloth in, all honesty. Especially with just one hand. You weren't about to ask Scaramouche for help, though.
Speaking of, the man with the large hat was silently leaning against the cabin wall, looking at you. The expression that he wore wasn't something that you could read. Not wanting to waste more time, you began to finish up the bandaging. Using your free hand and your teeth, you pulled on the cloth to create a knot.
"[Y/N]."The sudden voice made you jump. Pulling a bit too hard on the bandage, the knot had become awfully tight. It took a bit of prying to make it more loose.
"Yes, Sir?""There's a factory nearby."
"We'll go immediately, I assume?"
"Not "we". I will go. You'll wait at the entrance. It shouldn't take too long. Just set up camp. I might be there for a few days." Scaramouche replied. You moved your head in response, nodding.
"Should I guard the entrance?"
"No, I doubt anyone'll want to enter that isn't supposed to. Do as you'd like. Just don't stray too far from there. I want you to be ready whenever I come out. It's a shame we couldn't spar. Perhaps next when I see you again."
A few free days off didn't sound so bad. It sounded quite comfortable, actually.
