The Oni visibly got more comfortable in his own skin the further you all got away from the crime scene. The sniffling stopped and it seemed like the tears dried up too.

"We would've been toast! Thanks!" The Oni had lead you and your Boss towards a small camp, situated nearby a small stream of water. It looked quite shabby. A few small tents and a fizzled out campfire was practically all it had.

"Welcome to the Arataki Gang's humble abode!
Um.
Well.. Temporary! Abode! We're waiting for my sub-leader to come back. She's scouting for any good places.. Haha." The Oni carefully set down each person he carried inside of their tents as you and Scaramouche simply watched on.

"Oh man, oh man. Those Samurai really played dirty. I'm sorry for dragging you two into this mess. I thought it'd be okay but.. Turns out they really attack just about everyone and anyone!" You opened your mouth to respond to the tall energetic man. Scaramouche, however, held up his hand again. A sign to be quiet.

The Oni didn't seem to notice. He simply kept on rambling. When the silence began to settle down he broke it with a small cough.

"So, what's the name of my two saviours?"

"Tell us yours first." The Fatui Harbinger spoke slowly. It was unclear whether your boss liked this man or not, in all honesty.

"W-What...?" The horned man stepped back, holding up his hands defensively as if Scaramouche had attacked him.
"You.. You don't know..? There's no way you don't know me! The famous leader of the world renowned Arataki gang, y'hear? A-ra-ta-ki gang!"

The leader of the Arataki gang puffed out his chest.
"I'm Itto! Arataki Itto! I'll introduce my gang members when they're-"

"...Right. No need for that. Well. It was good to meet you, Itto of the A-ra-ta-ki gang." Scaramouche cut Itto off. The corners of your mouth curled up at the silly impression your Lord had done.

So he did have a sense of humour.

"We'll be on our way now." Scaramouche dipped his head. He grabbed onto your sleeve. The both of you turned around to leave the Oni.

"Wait! Wait, wait, wait a sec! I can't let you two leave without knowing your name?!" Itto's voice rang out from behind you. You heard him running around you and come to a halt in front of you and Scaramouche.

"It would be bad for our gang rep if people knew you had to help me while I don't help you in return!" Scaramouche shook his head. A quiet noise distracted you and you looked down. The man next to you had begun to impatiently tap his foot against the ground. Eager to leave, huh.

"I don't need help from anyone."

"Okay, alright.. What about you? Surely you need some help from the number One and only physically strong man in this vicinity!" Itto directed his attention to you. Yet again, Scaramouche stepped between you and the Oni.

"We don't need help." With the Harbinger increasingly becoming more agitated while the Oni began to look more and more determined, you finally decided to speak up.
"Oh, he's right!" You perked up from behind Scaramouche, whom had whipped around to stare at you.

"We're a little in a hurry, we've gotta get somewhere quite fast. We didn't help you, it was more.. Self defense, you know?" somehow, it worked. Arataki Itto nodded.
"Well, if you're in a hurry I shouldn't keep you longer. But let me know your names at least, so me and my gang can help you when we cross paths again!"

"I hope we don't." Scaramouche muttered loud enough for only you to hear.

The Balladeer turned around to face Itto again.
"All you you need to know is that I'm walking a dog. And I might even have to discipline it later."
