Part 1: High Five fever

They had been back at the monastery just short of a month but there had been no progress in finding the bodies of the other but the boys didn't mind now so much for with Zane and pixal working harmoniously together they can come up with a watch which gave them a solid ghost body.

Even though pix and Zane had given us temporary bodies, I couldn't sleep;

It was like being a nindroid. Making my way to the kitchen hoping cole hadn't found the last piece of cheesecake Skylor had made a couple of nights ago I could hear the clatter of dishes, slowly poking my head around I could see vaina and skylor making something all while dancing to a song softly playing from a phone on the counters. I had always liked watching skylor, whether it was fighting or simply brushing her hair but seeing her dance always made my heart dance with her. Like a phoenix flying in the sky with fire following it, skylor's hair did the same; catching small glints of light. I could almost... almost feel my powers illuminate within her, but I wasn't my power illuminating her hands; no, it was a soft amber color following her just her hair. Neither the less I could still feel my power, almost like it was back. "Hey vaina, I need some strawberry extract... can you go get some'' her hair reached her lower back when she stopped dancing but damn it was still glowing in the light like a fire "sure thing" with vaina gone I could go and ask skylor what she was baking and maybe get a piece of it but something strange happened when skylor opened the oven she seemed to stumble back and get dizzy. Worried, I forgot that I had been hiding and rushed forward just in time to catch Skylor as she fainted hearing my plea vaina came rushing forward, forcing Skylor from my hands and racing her to Harumi's bedroom without a single word spoken.

It was a strange night, while laying looking in the rafters I could hear doors open and close quite urgent voices, but also a restless night.

"... she just fainted" all of us sat around Zane while working on Cole's watch. Me telling them what had occurred last night, "fainted?..." "yes and then Vaina whipped her away before I could see if she was alright" we had been pondering over it all morning "well she seemed fine this morning when I saw her." she did seem fine when she came in for breakfast, just a bit tense and pale "odd... isn't Zane?" Cole's voice spiked my interest as I turned to see Zane obviously trying to ignore us. "Zane?" He stopped his work knowing that we would only pester him until he told us "I promise I wouldn't tell anyone..." "come on... Zane, we are your brothers; you can tell us anything" Zane seemed conflicted in telling us what he knew "all I will tell you is that she fainted because of a very high fever and they needed me to cool her down" a high fever, is they needed Zane to cool her down; it must have been scary high "why did she have a fever though?" Zane was walking out ignoring jay's question. "What if we asked someone who couldn't lie to us?" coles inquisitive question did instill hope that I could help Skylor somehow.

I'm dying.

Simple as that, I am dying. That faint wasn't anything and that high fever wasn't anything either. I didn't fear death but I was afraid of what came after to the people I care about, would they crawl next to me? Would they forever hide from life, only to live longer? Or would they cry for a day or maybe a week and then forget about me? But that is not what is important, what's important is that when I die; it will not be leaving Kai's fire within me, he needed it to continue saving Ninjago. So yes I am at peace about my death but now time was running out and I needed to find Kai's body. "We have searched everywhere...we can't find Kai's body" Vaina's voice was annoyed and angry at our findings as was acceptable "okay, so where can't we look?" "in space?" "No, we have been thinking about this all wrong... they won't be on maps or scans because they're from pocket dimensions... so we need to look at different frequencies" "we tried that, remember we couldn't find large amounts of power" "not power, frequencies...okay with each pocket dimension we have been to was within that person element whether it was in an ice cave or the sky'' Nya moved around with pixal closely following her "all we have to do is look for a fire element and a different frequency" "that's actually brilliant" we laugh at pixal observation of Nya's mind.

"Guys, we found him" was all that was given to us when vaina came breathless to the courtyard. Leading us into the samurai X cave we saw the rest of the girls waiting smugly " Who did you find?" "Kai's body" "well, we found where it could be...okay so each time we have found someone, it was connected to that person element but then it got us thinking if it was connected to the frequency of that element what it was connected to the partners element as well...so with help from skylor satellite and a few others we pinpointed his body in a ten-mile radius..." while Pixal was continuing working Nya explained further "but here is where it gets complicated... we have to find the entrance to the pocket dimension which could be anywhere in the town" "town?..." Nya's eyes directed us to the screen where pixal had brought up a map of a town of considerable size on the outskirts of the Ninjago, named Ignacia.

"I can't believe that your body is in Ignacia" Nya's voice crept up on me as I sat on the captain deck of the destiny beauty thinking about the last time I had been to Ignacia "ha, weird right" "yeah... Nya what's going on with skylor" my sister was quiet for her mind was racing "kai do you remember when aunt LillianI was getting sick so we tried to cheer her up" "yeah...but it didn't work" "maybe this time it will" then she left with more question for me then she was supposed to answer. "Hey, we are here" the red leaves trees came into view as we dropped from the cloud cover, the familiar sight of a familiar city seemed to excite the air and skylor as she dragged vaina and Harumi to the edge to see the city.

If I was dying I wouldn't go out without a good time so I knew where the best possible location to find the gateway was, a location I knew best of all was the starlight, a pub for singers. So you know the minute I got off, I dragged vaina who in turn dragged Harumi to the starlight we were followed by the rest of the team Nya and pixal knowing why we were here, taking the pinout of my hair that was holding it up I flipped it and walked in where I was meet with a familiar sight.

"Skylor!" A short girl with blond hair that had streaks of pink and purple steamed my name as soon as I reached the bar. Her smile was as big as her face, As she jumped over the bar and in front of me hugging me very tightly then seeming vania did the same "what are you and queenie doing here?" "Well, we came here for some fun" the fact that I didn't tell her why we were here gave insight to the team that this was someone who didn't know of my team " and I see you brought some company" "oh...yes, you know nya and pix this here is Harumi, and then the boys you heard about see here is Jay Nya's guy and Zane Pixal other half" "oh so you know skylor guy?" "Skylor guy" Kai pitched in with surprise "yea, that idiot fire ninja who she broke up with" the girls snickered at her comet, but kai blushed with embarrassment "so are you here for the competition?" "no we just came to have some fun" "thats to bad because chloe here is trying to break your record queenie" "really?" "oh yeah sweet heart she been trying real hard each time we have a comatision...oh look here the she-devil comes" a girl with bright pink hair and green eyes wearing a see-through shirt and no bra with a white pencil skirt, followed by what looked to be a puppy dog boy. She went strat into vaina's face saying "and the bitch is back" "hello chloe" "so are you here to see me win" "no, but I am here to see you lose" "really?... because this here is my new duo partner and he has a voice like heaven" "maybe he will cover up your voice from hell" "you know what I think you should prove it" "prove that my voice is from hell against yours...which was born from cow manure" "really, well maybe I would, if I still had my dou partner which you conventaly stole" "that doesn't mean that there aren't other people to sing with... I'll tell you what, to make it far I will let you choose a new partner for my self as long as I can choose on for you...how does that sound?" "alright" looking out into the crowd vaina set her eyes on the one person in the whole club who couldn't sing... alfred "him..." chloe's face went white then purple she was fumming, looking around she turned to our group of boys who looked a bit losted and out of place, chloes finger pointed out the only one who did have some kind of musical training but clamed to be terrible at sing...Cole. Vaina knowing full well she would have to convince him turned around shaking Chloe's hand, with a snotty attitude Chloe walked away. surprised at what vaina just did, I turned to her and realized... Vaina's eyes were red like she was drunk red and the thing with vaina is she never gets drunk, nor can she; the Shintaro blood in her keep the effect of alcohol away from her, meaning the only thing that could have happened is that chole had been wearing perfume made out of snapdragon's skull flower a flower so rare that Chloe must have planned for this. This disaster of broken pride.
