"you pierce my soul. I am in half agony, half hope. I have loved none but you."                         Persuasion by Jane Austin

Part 1: always an answer

(Lloyd)

She was different now...quieter more concealed. She hardly ever smiled or laugh and when she did it was because of vaina. Nya and pixel had forgiven her as well had Jay, kai, and Zane but I think it was more for their girls than Harumi...no one ever spoke to her... yes, she observed and gave answers when needed but most of the time you would see her staring off into the distance thinking or through her self into danger. I could see that it was the guilt but for the most part, it was something else.

I knew she knew that I knew she knew I was watching her but still she wouldn't look up from the ground because everywhere she went you could never see her eyes. "Good morning" vaina groggy voice called towards Harumi as she sat with a book and coffee on the window sill but it was to me and cole as well. '"Hey, I need you to look up a flower for me" I could hear only parts of Vania and Harumi's conversion concerning a flower "dude, you've got to stop looking at Harumi like that" cole comment made my head whip around "what?" "yeah, staring at her is making people think you still have feelings for her...which is understandable but she was the Quiet One so..." I didn't comment back because it would seem desperate but I knew he was right "I FOUND IT" Nya sing/yelling voice followed through the air as she climbed the stairs leading up to the kitchen "I found your body Lloyd" taking a deep breath she started with "So Harumi had this idea, that we could find your body by the oni blood in your veins don't ask how, but...it worked and so now we have your exact location" "exact location for what?" skylor red hair popped into the conversion and she walked through the door "Skylor!!" Nya's hug went right into her arms as she laughed "I thought you would still be here" "why wouldn't I be?" "you just got married last night and a honeymoon wasn't in the books?" "We are doing it after we find coles body...anyway we found Lloyd's and you can guess where we found it" there were many guesses non that were interesting but still guess "just tell us where?" "The Quiet One's grave" for the first time in four mouths Harumi's head came up all the way and I got a glace at her blue eyes...blue eyes? She has green...must be the light. "The Grave but that locked up?" vaina looked panicked "yeah but guess who had the key...the late master of the earth" cole's head perked up at this "my mom?" "no...your father"

(Harumi)

"Everyone knows that I was the quiet one or may still think that but as soon as we reach cole's father's home "I can't go to his door" my mind cried out to vaina's as we watched the clouds go by "I gave him that key so no one would find it how did they find it?" "everyone has a story, your is just well known" I knew she was trying to help but really she just made it worse "WE ARE HERE" Nya almost seemed excited to go see Mr. Blackstone for some reason but we both knew that I had to be the one to go.

Cole hesitated in knocking but as soon as the door opened and he saw my face I alone was dragged in "child, what are you doing here?" Mr. Blackstone had always been kind to me so I couldn't have lied when I said "I need the key"

(Lloyd)

I watched her ever so closer now, first she had been dragged in the pushed out with a key around her neck...a Marigold Key. "that was odd..." cole's tone of voice made me want to laugh for she spoke what everyone else was questioning "yeah it was" "why is it your girl is always the secret one" " yeah...wait she isn't my girl" it was too late to defend myself because cole had walked way and I was left grieving.

"It gives off a weird vibe" "it's a grave" "and does anyone else have this feeling this is going to go  terribly wrong?" I had spent the rest of the time observing Harumi and continued to as she unlocked the gates leading into the grave.

"I have a chilling feeling about this" cole had joined me in walking behind the girls "I know your body is in there, But.... it's still creepy" upon entering the change between a sunny outside and the dark cold inside of more than one...caskets...and ghost.

"Whoa" "what?...what do you see?" looking past Harumi and vania I could see that no one but Me, Cole, Viana, and Harumi were the only ones that could actually see the pale figures walking around crying or looking for lost ones.

"Keep your head down and don't interact with them" how could Harumi be so cold that she wouldn't even say something to her victims or help them find peace but knowing that she would listen to vaina, she followed along not even bothering to shed a tear.

(Harumi)

It was cold as we made our way though not knowing where we would end up. But each time a ghost tried to talk I would be the one to hear and how badly I wanted to help but just couldn't "I know you can't hear me but I want to hold your hand so you will see me" her voice was timed and scared quickly looking around I spoke "I can see you and I want to help you" I could see the sweet smile of a girl no older than 5 as she held my hand tighter "I lost my duckling" "where did you last see him?" "When I died" her answer was so blunt that I had to look at her "you know you are dead?" "yes...I have been dead for a long time" "then why didn't you pass over?" "to meet you..." "Why did you want to meet me?" "Because it's not your fault and you need to know that you are a part of something bigger than just being here...can I have my duckling now?" looking in my hand I found what she had wanted having no clue how it got there I gave it over knowing that no matter who you were, they are the reason we protect this world. "Now I will help you" if you could imagen a girl with dark hair and bright blue eyes running through a field full of flowers that is what her heaven looked like but my eyes saw it differently as feet hitting the floor running into a wall only for her to go poof... lighting a doorway.

(Unknown)

I could see it all... the heart of gold blanked with darkness, a heart that hurt and could not see but most importantly a heart that matched mine in power...my son.

He has to know.
