Chapter 4

Days went so quickly and we were in the middle of our school year. Valentines day is almost near kaya medyo busy din ang mga ibang studyante sa paligid.

"Thadeus!" I called him.

We were in school and his with his classmates. They were laughing over something at saktong nakita ko siya. It's been months also since we hang-out together.

I slowly appreciate his presence in my life. He looked at me and his friends. Nag-iwas sila ng tingin sa'kin at si Thadeus lang ang lumapit. A smile appear on his lips as he went to me.

"Hey... What brings you here?" Nakataas ang makapal niyang kilay.

"Nothing... I just saw you when I was about to go to the cafeteria." I gave him a small smile.

He looked at me, maliciously. I pouted. Totoo naman kasi 'yong sinabi ko na nakita ko lang siya nakipag-tawanan sa mga kaibigan niya.

"Una na kami, bro." Sabi ng isang kaibigan niya at tinapik pa ang balikat.

They can't looked at me for some unknown reason. Baka isa sila sa mga lalaking natarayan ko noon. Maybe, they got busted by me? Well, hindi naman sa pagmamayabang pero madami ang nanliligaw sa'kin.

I didn't say yes to their courtship kasi kahit naman ganito ako. I am a date to marry type of woman. I do flirting and M.U. but I wasn't really in a serious relationship with someone.

"Nasaan si Zianna? Himala ata na hindi mo siya kasama ngayon?" Nilagay niya ang takas na buhok sa tenga ko.

"She had a family lunch with her family. I don't know, she might be in a fix marriage." I shrugged off.

Sakto kasing wala na kaming class sa hapon kaya nauna na siyang umuwi sa'kin. Her driver pick her up here in the school to go home quickly. In the past few days ay palagi na siyang nagagalit sa parents niya.

And she even told me that her parents might fix her to marriage. Hindi ko ata kakayanin na itali ako ng mga magulang ko sa isang lalaki.

I don't like being in a fix marriage. I don't want my parents to fix me just to get married. Hindi pa ako tapos sa pag-aaral ko, I still wanted to continue my studies before settling down. It's too early for me.

Dad and I still didn't get along well. Even after months since our last talk that we fight. Mas lalo siyang naging busy na papalapit na ang election. Madaming kandidato ang gusto siyang patumbahin dahil malakas siya dito sa'min.

"You're hungry?" He softly asked.

"Yeah... I was about to go there and eat. But I saw you here, so, I stop by." Nakangiting sabi ko.

"Okay... You'll eat there, then."

He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the cafeteria. Pinagtitinginan kami ng ibang studyante dahil sa ginawa niya. Even though a lot of people looking up to me, some of them still hates my presence.

You can't please a lot of people lalo na't tinatarayan ko rin naman sila. Do they deserve my time and attention? I don't care if they hate me to the core.
