Chapter 8

Months passed by so quickly and the end of the year is approaching. Malapit na akong mag 4th year! I'm excited to end my school. I can't wait to done studying and do the things that I want.

I was having a general cleaning in my room when I saw a letter. Kunot-noo ko 'yong kinuha at umupo ako sa kama ko. Thadeus flowers still in my room kahit nalanta na 'yon. I don't have the reason to throw it at may gusto akong gawin do'n.

I opened the letter and nagulat ako when it was from Thadeus. Hindi ko 'to nakita dati dito sa kwarto ko. I saw it below my bed.

"My Valentine..." I read.

It immediately put a smile on my face. How sweet this man through out the months. He was still giving me flowers even though there's no important occasion. And that made me motivate waking up everyday with a smile on my face despite the rumored marriage with the son of Villarica.

Happy Valentine's Day, My Natalia.

It was a pure blessing that I've got to finally be with you. I never imagine that one day, I will be closer to you. Tinitignan lang kita mula sa malayo noon kasi imposibleng mapalapit ako sa'yo.

You were a blessing in disguise to me. You came to my life unexpectedly and I am happy that you will be my future girl.

Hindi man ako ang ideal man na hinahanap mo. I will become a better person for you, I will strive hard for our future. Yes, I'm including you in my plans for my future because I am sure of you.

I don't have any plans on letting you go the moment you decided to be mine. I'm not wealthy as you are but I promise to give you all of my love and time because you deserved it.

Hindi man maparamdam sa'yo ng daddy mo ang oras na hinihingi mo. But for me, I will give you all of my time whenever I had the chance to spend it with you.

I wiped my tears and sobbed because of the letters. It was a hand-written letters kaya mas lalo akong na-touched. First time kung maramdaman lahat ng 'to kaya sobrang saya ng puso ko.

Imagine, someone just give you hand-written letters. And making you feel his love and how consistent he is towards you. He didn't make me feel jealous towards other girls because he know what would I feel.

See how lucky I am?

Hi Ali! I'm doing good naman so far. I did a general cleaning in my room 'cause I feel like I need to. Anyways, eat on time also! Just call me later :) I love you!

There's no other people in our house because Mom and Dad was out of town. May inasikaso sila for dad's candidacy and they will be going home 3 days from now.

A smile creeped in my lips as a planned occur in my head. Since dad wasn't on his office, pupunta nalang ako do'n to surprise Thadeus. I'm sure I'll get bored after I clean my room kasi patapos narin ako.
