I was shocked when Diana's tagalog became straight. Hindi 'yon naging slang or hindi man lang siya nahirapan sabihin 'yon. Princess was beside her looking at us in that position.

"I-I was just comforting your, Mom." Nagtatakang tanong ni Thadeus.

"You don't have to comfort her, we are here to do that..." May bahid ng inis ang boses ni Princess ng sabihin 'yon.

"Princess, anak..." I hold her hand.

"Why mommy? Do you like his comfort?"

I can't help but to chuckled of the way they treat him. Siguro tumatak sa kanila ang nangyari na muntikan na silang masagasaan.

"Darling... His comforting me because I'm crying." Pagpapaintindi ko.

"Why is he here? Do you know each other?"

Because he is your dad, anak.

I wanted to voice it out but it's not the time yet. I need a lot of courage to say it kasi tinatakasan ako ng lakas ng loob ko. I am scared that he'll be mad at me for not telling him sooner about our children.

"His an old acquaintances, darling..." I softly uttered.

Nakita ko kung paano lumingon si Thadeus sa'kin. Nilingon ko din siya na may pagtataka. He looked away trying to avoid my gaze.

"Really? Inshort, his an old friend?" Diana asked in normal voice.

"I'm your Mom's ex-boyfriend..." Gulat akong tumingin sa kan'ya.

"What?!" Sabay na sigaw nilang dalawa.

Napapikit ako dahil sa sinabi niya. Bakit naman kasi sinabi niya 'yon ng diritsahan? We caught the attention of other visitors inside our home.

The twins cover their mouth when they realize how loud their voices are.

"Are you serious?" Princess asked still shocked.

"Hmm... I wouldn't lie about that." He is facing the coffin of dad while stretching his arms in the chair.

"He isn't our dad, mom right?" Nanlaki ang mata ko.

"O-Of course not!" I smiled, awkwardly.

I saw how his jaw clenched when she looked at us. Nakita ko ang kakaibang kislap sa mata niya. I can't explain what is it.

"You don't have a dad?"

Nalintikan na.

"Yes... Why?"

He looked at me with a jaw clenching. Nakita ko ang kislap ng galit sa mga mata niya habang nakatingin sa'kin. Ito na 'yong sinasabi ko na ayaw ko munang sabihin sa kan'ya.
