They said that the most painful thing about being in love is to hurt someone you don't intended to hurt. It is painful to love someone dearly and leave them afterwards. You put so much love and time to that person and ended up breaking with him.
Even if you didn't mean it. It will still leave a big impact to them. It will leave a trauma but I need to do it. For his life, for his job.
"I wanted the wedding as soon as possible, Eduardo." Dad said at Mr. Villarica.
We were in the house having a family dinner. And the Villarica's are here because dad invited them. They were already talking about the upcoming wedding.
Our maids served us a dessert with a cheese at kaagad bumaliktad ang sikmura ko. I immediately went to the sink and vomit. Tubig lang naman at kaonting kanin lang ang sinuka ko.
"Hija! Are you okay, anak?" Kaagad akong dinaluhan ni Mommy.
Hinagod niya ang likod ko habang sumusuka ako ng tubig. I was crying while vomiting because of the stingy smell.
"What was that smell? Ang baho!" Galit na sabi ko.
Hindi ko talaga gusto ang amoy. Parang panis na pagkain or ewan. I just don't feel smelling it. It's saturday kaya nandito sila sa bahay at walang pasok. They even cancel their meetinh for this fucking dinner.
"Baka ito po, ma'am?" Sumuka ulit ako ng pinakita sa'kin ng maid ang isang Maja Blanca.
Is it because of the cheese? Or the dessert itself? Ang baho sa pang-amoy ko! Ang lansa! Mom was just caressing my back.
"Are you okay, hija?" Mrs. Villarica joined us in the sink.
"I'm okay..." Supladang sabi ko.
Nagmumog lang ako bago bumalik sa table. Everyone is looking at me like I did something horrible. Am I a criminal for looking at me like that?
"What the fuck are you staring?" I hissed. I am looking at Blazy.
"Nothing..." Seryosong sagot niya.
I just continue eating at parang ang lakas kung kumain. Sarap na sarap ako sa nakahain sa lamesa, except to that Maja Blanca yaya prepared for us.
"Okay... Continue from what I'm saying earlier. I wanted the wedding as soon as possible. I don't care if she's still studying... I'm sure Blazy would allow her still to study, right?" Nakangiti siyang tumingin kay Blazy.
"O-Of course, Tito. I will." He smiled.
"Mommy... This food is so delicious! Who cooked this?" Nakangiting sabi ko kay Mommy.
"It's Yaya Mildred who prepared everything, anak." I nodded.
"Really, Mom? It's good huh." I commented even though my mouth is full.
