on the road, again.

first night

After setting on my backpack for a while, my ass was sore, so I had to stand up. Lori and I had finished our beer quite some time ago, we wanted more but we wanted to get to the end of the line before we got more beer. While there where people here when we showed up, a few more people came along before the bus was due to get here. because of that, I knew that this bus was also going to be full. The end of the route was still at least an hour or so away. As we all piled on to this city bus, Lori was able to obtain a set beside a window with her things on her lap, I went to the back of the bus where i was able to stand up my big backpack in a seat and stand next to it holding on to the railings so i wouldn't fall. So, we rode. As the time passed on people were getting off the bus. It didn't take long till i was able to get a seat myself all be it i was setting sideways. I don't like to ride city buses let alone set sideways. I really didn't mind this time though because I knew that it wouldn't be long before someone moved from a forward-facing seat. It was around 3:30pm by the time we got into Sanford Fl. We both only had one thing on our mind besides having a cigarette and that was, BEER! We again seemed to get really lucky because where we got let off at the last bus stop for that rout, we were able to locate a store right away, mostly because we asked someone where the store was. We only had to walk two and a half blocks before we found a small convenient store that looked like it had been there for a long time. Lori wanted to go in the store this time, so I stayed outside. I was so glad to be off that bus because I was craving a cigarette.  Lori came out of the store a few minutes later with a smile on her face because i knew that she was wanting this beer as much as I was, she had two 40ozs bottes of natty ice in a plastic sack. Now we had to find somewhere to drink it. We also had to get our bearings. I knew we had to follow 17N up out of Orange Co.
