Sunghoon sighed as he saw Jungwon's messages. This was too much for him. He was really grateful for the boys for being his first friends, he really valued them so much.
"Why is it me? For once I want to live with people I love, why is it so hard?!" He let out muffled cries over a pillow, he couldn't let the maids hear him crying.
He met me, he applied for job in my company, just to meet me, and I'm such a dumbass to make him disappoint. He looked so hurt, I'm such a bad person to hurt the guy I love. Why am I like this?! Why can'tI just live like any ordinary person who can do anything he wants, without any side conditions.
"Mr. Sim! Just yesterday you said that you won't disappoint me and what the fuck is this?! I told you to go through this file and sent it to Mr. Kim, didn't I?" Sunghoon shouted at the new marketing manager, just at the second day of his work.
"But sir, I made sure to send it to him yesterday-"
"THEN WHY DIDN'T HE RECIEVE IT?! MR. SIM JUST YESTERDAY I TOLD YOU THAT IF YOU WANT TO BE IN THIS COMPANY, YOU NEED TO BE PERFECT IN WHAT YOU DO! I DON'T WANT A MERE EMPLOYEE TO RUIN WHATEVER I MADE TILL NOW FOR GOD'S SAKE!" Park shouted at the older male, making his files drop on the floor.
"I'm s-sorry Mr. Park. I'll be more focused from now on. I'm really sorry." Jaeyun said as he bent down and lifted his files up. The whole office was witnessing this. Jaeyun's cabit was just at the center, it was a glass cabin, what opacity could we expect?
While lifting his files, Jake felt another set of hands helping him lifting the files up, he looked up with his teary eyes, just to meet Heeseung's assuring gaze. He mouthed a 'thankyou', shaking, he was shocked by the false accusations made by Sunghoon.
"Mr. Lee? Who told you that you can meddle when I'm-"
"I know Mr. Park I'm wrong to do this. But let me tell you, I personally handed over the files to Mr. Kim's secretary, as he was waiting in my cabin, it's an issue from their side."
"Are you s-" Sunghoon was cutted off by a phone call.
"Sorry sir, I couldn't hide it properly because Mr. Kim was around his cabin at that time. He found out that I hid the files. Please don't cut the money amount, Mr. Park-"
The CEO cleared his throat. "I'm sorry Mr. Sim, I just recieved the phone call that Mr. Kim's secretary tried to hide it."
He looked at the older male's state. He felt like crying deep inside. Watching the older shaking and confused like that, his heart ached, but his heart would ache more if anything worse happened to him. I'm sorry my love, just please give the resignation letter, and leave the company. It will be the only safe choice for you. I'm sorry for hurting you, my Jakey.

"You're too good Hoonie, you should actually go to the competitions. Why didn't you tell us you're so good at ice skating?!" Jake asked, with his glittering eyes, observing the way Sunghoon glided on the ice.
"T-thankyou Jake." Sunghoon said sluttering, as he scratched his nape, being embarrassed.
"and Jungwon." Jungwon pouted adding to his sentence.
"I'm sorry Wonie, thankyou to you too!" Sunghoon said as heat crept up on his cheeks.
"You both just date already. Anyone can tell you both like each other." The youngest said as he left the ice rink, leaving the shy boys alone.
"Oh heck no, I'm going to that jerk right now and I'm not leaving him alone." Jungwon said in absolute anger as he got up of the cafe seat, but luckily Jake held his hand and made him sit again.
"Yeah and then what? And then he'll fire me." Jake said half yelling.
"Why don't you resign? Why are you working in that hell? Why are you hurting yourself hyung, open your eyes he isn't the same person now!"
"I know. I really don't want to work there, my self respect has been ripped for so many times just in the time span of two days. But I know him, I know its his doing, I know he wants to embarrass me and he wants me to leave the company. I won't. I won't because I don't want him to succeed in whatever he is planning."
"But why would he do this? Does he not want to associate you with him or something? Is he intimidated by you? Does he think that you're better than him?"
"I don't know wonie. But I'll stay strong as long as I can. Just for myself, nobody else."
"So, this product needs a bit more of promotion. And for this, we need a little bit of more funds from the finance department." Jake sighed in relief as he finally explained his points to Heeseung.
"Hmm...Okay then, I'll just talk to Mr. Park about this and let you know."
"No Heeseung, you should have some food and take some rest. You don't really look good, did you even sleep at the night? Look at those dark circles-"
Heeseung just stared at the younger male, admiring his face, finding his concerned nagging cute. He just chuckled and nodded at Jake.
"Yes Jake, don't worry I'll be fine. I'll just take some rest okay? Are you sure you can go alone?" He patted Jake's as he nodded. Heeseung's comforting words made Jake feel something, he wasn't sure what, but it was something.
Jake's heartbeat increased as he went inside Mr. Park's office. He peeked through the door.
"Mr. Park? May I take some of your time?"
"Sure, Mr. Sim."
He went inside as he noticed the younger male looking straight in his eyes, without any hint of admiration or love. Jaeyun pretended to be fine with it, but deep inside, he was breaking. He was slowly breaking.
