"Thankyou for whatever you did for the past few months." Jake bowed as he made way towards the exit, unless he felt his CEO hugging him from behind.
"Jake...Don't go."
"Mr. Park please-" he tried to let go from the taller grip but he tightened it more.
This touch, this warmth, Jake waited for it for last 6 years, but now, he really just wanted to go. He didn't even know the reason, did he hate him or was he worried about him?
"I'm really sorry Jake, I need you. The company also isn't in a very condition- you know what screw the company. Just be with me."
"Sunghoon just leave me, please-"
"I won't let you go again Jakey."
Jake sighed as he forcefully got out of the younger's grip. He bowed and ran before Sunghoon could get to him again, he left the cabin.

"Hey it's fine Jaeyun. Don't cry." Jay patted Jake's shoulder as he heard him sniff.
"I'm sorry Jake, how I wish I could come with you to another company. I don't really want to leave you-" Heeseung said as he hugged the shorter male.
"It's okay Hee, I'll be happier there, I think."
"Yes, you definitely will."

Jake opened the door of his home, as Layla came running towards him, he crouched down to her level as he patted her head, trying to smile.
"Layla, why is this happening to me?" He asked as he started tearing up.
Layla tilted her head, maybe confused as of why her dad was crying. She went closer to him as she wanted to hug him. She was a smart dog, she knew something wasn't right, so she didn't bother to annoy or play with Jake.
Jake felt wet trails on his cheek and he just sat down with his back supporting the door. All the flashbacks, everything he kept in mind were now getting out in the form of his years. He wanted to cry it out.
"Didn't he say he liked me? Can't he trust me? Why did he have to trust her mother?! Am I not enough for him? Why didn't he tell me he liked me actually and he was going through all this." He said in between of crying.
Layla scooted closer to him, as if she was comforting him, she licked all over him as a sign to comfort him.

"So, today is our first day together?" Sunghoon asked as he held Jake's hand, looking into his eyes.
"Yes, Hoonie." Jake said as he smiled assuringly at him.
They went towards Jungwon who was scrolling on his phone, in the cafeteria's table. He looked up at them, looked at their locked hands and then again looked at his phone.
"Wonie, we are dating." Jake said excitedly.
"Yes, I know."
"You aren't shocked?" Sunghoon asked confused.
"Except you too, everyone in the school knew that you guys like each other. Nobody is shocked." Jungwon said as he smiled to them.
Jake and Sunghoon looked at each other and laughed suddenly. It was funny to then because they were too obvious.
"I love you so much, Hoonie."
"I love you too, my Jakey."

The next day, Jaeyun woke up, realising that he didn't sleep properly. His body was aching, but he ignored it. Because today was his first day in the new company. He literally thanked God for giving him such a luck that he got a new job the same day he resigned.
He took a calm shower with mild warm water as thoughts came into his mind, again, but he forcefully let them out. He didn't want any bad thoughts on the first day of his new company. He thought that as a start of a new life.
Wearing his navy blue blazer on white shirt and navy blue pants, Jake was now ready to go. He needed to move on, for his own good.
"Mr. Sim?" Jake nodded as the receptionist took his name.
"Yes, it's me. Good morning."
"Good morning Mr. Sim. We were waiting for you." The receptionist said as she passed a flirty smile to him, which he shrugged it off.
"So, now what should I do?" Jake asked clearing the awkward tension.
"Please follow me. The CEO wants to meet you." She said as she made her way outside the reception desk.
While walking, it was really silent. And with a strange reason, that silence was making him uncomfortable, so he decided to clear it.
"So, does CEO meets every new employee that comes?"
"No, you are the first one actually." She said as they reached a modern-looking office.
"Mr. Lee, Mr. Sim is here." She said as she bowed and went out, winking at Jaeyun.
With small but confident steps, Jaeyun went inside the office as he saw a man in his 50s, looking active as hell, smiling at him. He smiled back at the man sitting on the CEO desk.
"Sim Jaeyun, right?"
Jake nodded as the man's sweet and kind sounding voice made him a little bit more confident.
I can do this. I'll forget everything. I can move on.
"Are you comfortable here? You can ask anyone here if you face any problems. If you are comfortable, I'll show you your office." The man said, smiling at him.
"Sir, it's really fine, I will search for the office myself." Jaeyun smiled, not to burden the CEO himself.
He felt a bit weird because all this was a bit too wholesome for a new employee.
Then he realised, he was standing in Lee Corporation, a rival company of Sunghoon's company. Maybe they want some secretive information from him, but he's never giving them that. He decided if anybody does anything shady, he will resign.
-----------------------------------------------------------
"I don't know Wonie, I feel weird here. They are treating me as if I'm a guest-" Jake said on the phone.
"Maybe they want you not to feel uncomfortable? Call me biased but this company would be far better than the last one."
"Yeah....Maybe...."
"Jake hyung, it's a new company, you'll slowly adapt to it. Don't worry."
Jake sighed as he cut the call after taking to Jungwon. He tried to talk to few people and adapt to the company. His co-workers were good, but there was something that Jake was yet to know.

Hiii, from now on updates may be a bit slow because my exams are incoming, but I'll try my best!!
