Peter and I stayed off to the sides not quite ready to fight exactly in the middle of the battlefield. Well, he was ready I wasn't. I knew I was nowhere near as experienced as everyone else so being as safe as I could was my best option so I could help anyone in need.
There would be a whole different problem if I got injured.
I heard Natasha in the comms "this will take another 10 or 15 minutes to completely wipe everything" she said and I could hear Clint fighting agents in the background.
"I thought it was Stark technology why's it so slow?" I asked "you can't rush perfection or in this case destruction" Tony replied smugly.
"Destruction can be rushed" Sam said and I could hear distinct gunshots, what perfect timing.
I felt a kick to my abdomen and groaned as a larger man was in my line of sight. I ducked avoiding his next punch instead jumping on his back to bring him down onto the ground and rolling away so Peter could web him down.
I kicked another hydra agent, this was a smaller man, petite and short. I decided to use him as a little practise run.
I swung my leg around his shoulders trying to stabilise myself as his hands started repeatedly hitting my thighs strangling his neck. I smiled as I had successfully used Natasha's iconic thigh crushing move.
I punched the agent repeatedly until he dropped unconscious, just how I liked it.
I stared at the multiple bodies webbed down onto the ground and high-fived Peter "we make such a great team" I said and Peter laughed.
"Behind" he said and I began the takedown of another hydra agent.
"How's everyone doing?" I asked into my comms wanting a little update.
"The grounds nearly clear" Steve said very audibly out of breath
"All software is down" Natasha replied and I could practically hear the smirk that was on her face knowing she was successful in her task.
"Ok everyone start making your way back" Tony said and I looked at Peter just as a few more agents piled into our area
"Pete and I will be a while" I said as I stretched out my limbs loosening my muscles
"Everything ok?" Pietro asked worriedly assuming the worst, he was always extra protective of me and Wanda it always made me feel loved
"Yeah we're fine" I said knowing we had a rhythm down by now.
Every kick, punch and shove was returned with just as much force.
Anytime anything got a little excessive Peter would swoop in with a snarky response and a hard blow.
All hydra agents were down in the area Peter and I were in.
"Good work spider boy" I said and Peter groaned as he hung upside down in a tree, legs wrapped around a branch arms hanging freely.
"It's actually spiderman" he shot back and I rolled my eyes playfully.
I approached him, slowly taking off the bottom of his mask revealing his lips that were curled into a smile, I gently kissed his lips and we stayed in that position making out for a while
"I've always wanted to do that" he said and I laughed
"It sure was a fun experience, I hope it was worth it" I said smiling.
"We need y/n in here now, Steve's down multiple gunshot wounds, it was a surprise attack" I heard in my comms and my smile dropped as Peter jumped into action he unhooked himself from the tree grabbing me quickly swinging towards Tony's instructions.
I truly hoped Steve was ok.
