It was Arabella's first day back at school. She had stayed out an extra three weeks. Her sister and brother had gone back after the funeral she had gone with her aunt. She knew that things were about to change the minute that she walked into the school. And she was not at all prepared for it.
Her bump had started to come in she was ten weeks pregnant. Her aunt had also taken her to get Maternity Clothes.
She had on a pretty blouse that showed her bump and white jeans. She knew that things were about to have something to say and she was ready for it.
She walked into the school and all the hallways were cleared. For that she was thankful barley anyone knew about her pregnancy well they were about to know now. She went to the office with the note from her aunt. Basically saying she was out of school for health reasons and if they had a problem to call her.
She walked into the office and all of the staff looked at her. "Nice of you to join us Miss Knight" The sarcasm was dripping from their mouths but due to the fact that before her parents died all their funds nearly came from them. They couldn't really say anything about it.
"First of all rude second of all my aunt told me to give you this note." She handed the note to them. She knew that she was going to have to get use to hearing the comments because everyone was going to have something to say. " If you have something you would like to say just say it." She didn't want them to hold their tongue just because of who she was.
"I'm surprised you came back at all Miss. Knight i would have expected you to transfer to a more appropriate school to avoid harassment." It was clear she was pregnant and everyone was going to have something to say about the good girl going bad.
"I am pregnant my parents are dead and i am barley into my junior year. I have this baby at the end of it i was in the hospital cause i suffer from depression and you want to make quips I'm sorry i am having a baby and you can't even get a guy to come near you. I'm going to class." She turned around and headed towards her class looking at the time she knew that sheas in her Spanish class which she was happy about because she already was fluent in Spanish. She didn't have to really pay attention to the class. And luckily for her Skylar was in this class so she wouldn't be alone but she was going to be for the next class.
She walked into the room and everyone looked at her a few gasping. Her teacher looked at her, "Nice to see you Ms. Knight."
"Nice to be back Ms. Gonzalez" She went and took her seat by Skylar. It was nice to be back at school. But she knew that the feeling wasn't going to last for long.
Skylar looked over to her she knew that this wasn't easy for her. But she was happy to see a smile on her face. She knew that her best friend was embracing the fact that she was pregnant and was glad for her. "You ok?"
"As good as i can be right now." She was happy about her pregnancy she had adjusted to the fact that her life was changing before her eyes. But she also knew that she still needed to greive. It wasn't going to be an easy couple of months for her.
"So no contact for three weeks." Skylar had known that she was going to leave but she had thought that she was still going to hear from her best friend. And she had been worried that something had happened to her or the baby. "How is my niece or nephew?"
She knew that was going to be the big question and she had been scared that all the stress was going to harm the baby. But she had been reassured by her doctor that everything was good and the baby was healthy. "Baby is doing fine my aunt took me for a check-up before we came back."
"That's good." Skylar was happy that everything was alright with the baby.
"Focus on the class." Arabella knew that they sometimes forgot they were in school.
