She was working on homework trying to get as much done as she could. There was a knock at the door. her grandmother who wanted to stay with them for a few months popped her head in. "How you doing?" Amelia was truly worried about her granddaughter she knew that this was a hard time for her with everything that was going on.

"Tired." She was exhausted but she still had so much work that she had to get done. She didn't want to ask for extensions or help with anything. She knew her teachers would pity her because of the recent events- her parent's death her being pregnant- and that was the last thing that she wanted.

"Maybe you should get some sleep." She didn't want her granddaughter to exhaust herself.

"Grandma i am a month behind on work." She knew that she needed sleep but she also needed to complete the work that she had missed in those weeks she was gone. And she didn't have time to really do that with her constantly getting new assignments too." I have no time to sleep i need to get this done."

"Where is Skylar i am surprised you didn't want to spend time with her." She knew something was going on with Skylar she just wasn't sure what it was.

"She lied to me i don't want to talk to her." In truth, Arabella really missed her best friend but she couldn't trust her. Not after she lied to her.

Amelia when and sat by her grandaughter she understood that this was a hard time for her. "How did she lie to you?"

"It's a long story grandma." She didn't really want to go into detail about it. She just wanted to drop the subject but if she knew her grandmother she would never let that happen.

"I have time."

She took a breath knowing that there was no real way to get out of this. She would just have to tell her grandmother about it. "She lied to me when she took me to that party. She told me she was an only child that she had no siblings. Her family was average i told her that i was a rich kid that my parents had money i didn't lie about my siblings."

"Maybe you should tell her how you feel?" If Amelia knew anything it was that talking through problems was the best way to fix a friendship or any relationship.

"No i don't want their help i can raise my own baby " She didn't need Ashton's nor Skylars' help she would be perfectly content with raising her baby by herself. With only the support of her family.

She knew that Arabella was scared of everything that was happening and she could not blame her. But she did not want her to end up making decisions that she would grow to regret. she knew that the baby needed a father and that it deserved to know the entire family not just it's mothers side. "Arabella it's not about whether or not you can raise your own baby but your baby needs a family that baby needs a father."

She knew that her grandma had a point that her baby needed a father. It deserved to know its entire family. But she also knew that Ashton was known for his reputation and she didn't want her baby around that. She didn't "Not a father who uses girls for his own amusement granny i let a lot slide before i got pregnant and i am not doing it anymore."

"You never a know a baby can change a lot. Give them a chance before you just band them from your babies life." She knew that Arabella just wanted to do what was best for her baby but she also she had little respect for those that lied to her. But she also knew that she needed to give them a chance to show they wanted to be their without pushing them away.
