Skylar had woke up the next morning expecting Arabella to be next to her. She sat up looking around her room not seeing her. Which confused her she had no idea where her best friend would go.

She climbed out of her bed grabbing her phone before heading downstairs she walked through the living room stopping and turning around.

She went to the camera on her phone and took a picture before backing out slowly she knew her mom was going to kill her for this but it would be worth it. She grabbed a cup out of the cabinet and walked slowly back to the living room. She threw the water on them and ran upstairs.
--
Arabella woke up to water being thrown at her she sat up looking around. "Shit "

"I'm going to kill her." Ashton grabbed the pillow covering his face he knew it had been his sister who had thrown water over them. He was going to get her for that.

Arabella looked over to Ashton she couldn't believe they had fallen asleep on the couch. "Why did you let me fall asleep?"

"That was not my fault," He put the pillow on the couch sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"Whatever," She moved to stand he got up helping her steady herself. She was grateful for that not wanting to fall. She had been having trouble keeping herself balanced."Thanks, I swear I keep feeling like I am going to fall."

"Isn't that dangerous?" He didn't think her almost falling was good when she was pregnant.

Arabella shrugged she wasn't exactly sure but she was trying to be as careful as possible. "Probably"

Skylar came downstairs peeking over the staircase she knew she was going to piss them off by throwing water on them. But it had been to good to resist.  "And here I thought you two would never get along"

Arabella scoffed looking at her best friend she didn't get why she would do that. "Seriously you threw water on us."

"Why?" Ashton knew he was definitely going to have to change now.

It was obvious why because her best friend who was supposed to be in her room was instead laying with her brother. Now she couldn't just leave that be. And she suspected something had happened since they always said they hated each other. "Because I woke up looking for her and here she is downstairs on the couch laying on you now that is suspect."

They both looked at each other shaking their head. Both could agree they weren't right for each other they were too different and they didn't get along. "No."

"Never again."

"Mmhm." She chuckled lightly she could already see it happening but hopefully it happened after their senior prom for the sake of the bet she had just made.  "Just don't make me lose the bet."

Arabella looked between the two sensing there was something else that she still didn't know. "What bet?"

Skylar shook her head the less she knew about it the better. She wanted to know how Arabella had gotten down here when she had been up there. "Nothing the point is how did you get down here, to begin with."

"She was already down here when I came down." Ashton argued it hadn't been his fault he just wouldn't let her not talk about it with him.

"I couldn't sleep." She had been down there wanting to distract herself with old memories when he had come down. "He came down to bother me."

"I see that. Obviously, the talk went well if you fell asleep." She hoped it did she didn't want them to hate each other forever they did have to deal with each other for the next 18 years of the baby's life.

"I did not mean to." If she could have stayed up she would have but she had been exhausted and ended up falling asleep.

--
Arabella had just gotten back house she went into the living room and saw her grandmother sitting on the couch. Amelia looked over to her granddaughter she had wondered why she hadn't been home. "Where have you been?"

"At a friend's house." She was their for Skylar it just so happened Ashton lived their too.

Her aunt walked in Layla knew that her niece didn't have many friends. "What friend's house?"

"Skylar's." She knew she wasn't getting out of this one she could gaslight her grandmother but her aunt knew her.

Amelia and Layla looked at her they both could admit they were happy she was talking to Skylar again. She knew it would be good for her and good for the baby. "I thought you weren't talking to them."

"I took what you said into consideration and Isabella talked to me and i decided to give them a chance i really don't want to raise this baby alone." She didn't want to have to do everything alone and she knew that her baby deserved to have its father in its life so she was giving it a chance. "I do not want my child to resent me because i kept their father from them."

"And what did you guys decide." Layla hoped the two could get along for the rest of the time for the baby's sake at least.

"Honesty." They were going to all try and be honest with each other.

"Are you guys actually going to stick to it?" Amelia had to ask she knew they were teenagers and they were still learning their way.

"I hope so"

"Are you going to be able to keep your attitude in check?" Layla knew that was the better question how was her attitude going to affect all of this.

"I am going to try." That she could promise she would try to keep her attitude in check for the baby's sake.

"Arabella."

"I hope you only plan on having one child because I don't think we are going to be able to deal with you again."

She crossed her arm over her chest at her grandmother's comment she knew that she was being stubborn but she was going through a lot right now. "Aren't you supposed to be leaving back to Flordia soon i don't get why you guys are still here we said we were fine."

"Your kids." Layla and her mother could agree they didn't want them doing this alone.

They weren't kids they were almost adults and she knew her sister was going to do everything she could to make sure all of them were ok. "No we are teenagers and Isabella is an adult and our legal guardian go back to your lives. Everything will be fine here without you. We will call and keep in touch and tell you about everything that is going on. But we need you to have some trust in us that we can do this."

"She is right Layla we have to trust them." As much as Amelia wanted to baby them she knew she couldn't she had to trust they could do this themselves.

They heard someone clear their throat turning to see Isabella she was happy to hear they were finally going to give them some space to get through this. But irritated that it had taken Arabella talking to them for it to happen. "I've been trying to get you guys to trust me with being their legal guardian since she came back from Florida and now you want to go."

"Isabella."

"Grandma!"

"Issy."

Isabella had this she was going to make sure both her brother and her little sister were ok which was going to be better now that she was getting along with Skyla and Ashton. "I can handle them and now that she is more open to being nicer to the father of her baby and back friends with her best friends. "

"Which is probably not going to last long?" Layla reminded with the way that her niece was going she knew that every little thing was going to drive her crazy.

"I don't care i will take it." Right now All Isabella wanted was to try and get through this one day at a time. "As long as she is not trying to kill me, or Parker I call it a win."

"Alright."

"Fine."

"Thank you."
