3 hours earlier (Michael's Pov)

"FUCK OFF" I yell while struggling to get away, Calum is just too heavy. The man starts to run toward us and I try to run with Calum who is deciding to act as an anchor. I then decide what I have to do... "I'm so sorry Calum." I whisper before dropping him to the ground and whipping around sprinting to get away from the man in black.

God... I am so... So sorry Calum....

I ran around the building, the mall has closed but the they didn't put the metal gate in front of it yet. I stood outside of the turned off automatic doors, I bring my leg up and kick the door, nothing. I kick again and the door forcefully opens. I force my way inside the recently emptied mall. I look at the unmoving escalator and dash towards it.

I hear someone attempt to shuffle into the building and I speed my pace up. Once I climb the escalator I run to the small diner and hide under one of the tables, I then hear frantic footsteps running my way before slowing down.

I clasp a hand over my mouth to attempt to hush my heavy breathing as tears swell in my eyes, just be quiet Michael, you'll be fine.

I could see the shiny boots from under the table walk around. "Michael?" I heard a muffled yet familiar voice say. My breathing quickened.

"C'mon now don't be like this... I know you are here... If you come out now I promise that I won't hurt you..."

Utter bullshit.

"...but if you don't come out now... I won't hesitate to chop off each of your little fingers with an eating knife from this lovely diner."

I stay where I am and try to calm my breathing. "My temper is running out whore!" I hear Jamie yell angrily while he throws one of the chairs from a table. It hit the floor with a loud bang and I jump releasing a small whimper.

"Oh..." I hear Jamie gasp as I see his shoes get closer and closer to the table I'm hiding under. "Mind whimpering again for me, baby?" He whispers. I press both of my hands against my mouth while tears flow down my face. He practically found me, I'm already dead.

His feet suddenly stop right in front of my table, "I have a bad back so please just come out so I don't have to bend down and grab you." He sighs.

I don't move an inch and become incredibly quiet.

"Ah!" I yelp as I feel a rough hand come from under the table and grab my ankle, dragging me from the table and out in the open. I look up and stare wide eyed at Jamie's unclothed face.

I kicked my leg up trying to get his hand off of me, but instead he grabs the same leg with his other hand and swings me.

I forcefully crash into another nearby table, my back burns.

I attempt to get up but I then feel a hand go through my hair grabbing it forcefully. He slowly begins to yank me to my knees,

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow!" I repeat as he continues to pull me by my hair. I then see him bring his arm back hitting me in the face with full force. The impact took me flying to the floor once again.

I then feel the heel of his shoe press against my lower back, "This is what happens when you don't listen..." He then forcefully digs his heel into my back causing me to scream.

Jamie then sits down and puts both of his knees on my back as I feel his hands grip my neck, "Hold still" he hisses, I suddenly feel the point of something press against the skin on my neck. I then feel the sharp object break through the skin,

I scream loudly at the pain. "It's not a knife, calm down. It's just something to help you sleep." I feel the pointy object go deeper in my flesh and I start to feel drowsy. He then takes the object out and I see him lay the now empty syringe next to my head.

"Goodnight Michael...." I hear him snicker.

I fight to keep my eyes open but my lids feel heavy and begin to close.
Once I let my eyes flutter close, and my body calm down I'm enveloped in pure darkness. It's comforting yet scary at the same time.
