Chapter 39: Tattoo

Levi's arms are crossed over his chest while he's leaning properly on the backreat of his seat. He's sitting on the center chair of the dining table and across from his is Luciana who's just staring at her hot chamomile tea.

Hange's on Levi's right side, next to the brunette-commander is Eren. Next to Eren, is Mikasa and next to Mikasa is Armin. Across from Hange is Sasha, next to Sasha is Connie, next to Connie is Joan and next to Joan is Jean who's on Luciana's left side.

The dining room have been quiet for a while now. No one's speaking yet.

Luciana picked up her tea and sipped on it, she hissed when she burned her tongue. Idiot. You're an idiot, Luciana. You know the tea's hot, but you easily sipped on it like it's some iced drink.

"How are you, Luciana?" Hange asked. Luciana looked at Hange.

Both of her eyes softened upon noticing that Hange's wearing the black eye-patch she made for Hange.

"I'm better now." Luciana said.

She pursued her lips and tucked some thin strands of hair behind her ear. "It's nice to see all of you." Cian said.

Hange and the Levi squad smiled.

"We missed you, major." Sasha said.

"Yeah...it felt so different when you're not around." Connie said.

"I miss the nicknames you call me." Eren said.

"We all miss your presence, major. Especially..." Armin spoke. He looked at Jean who's just staring at Luciana. "Especially Jean." Armin said.

"Yeah. All he thinks about is you." Mikasa said.

Hange, Joan and the Levi squad laughed while Luciana smiled.

She looked at Jean who didn't mind the teasing of his squadmates and just focused on staring at the love of his life. He'll never ever never get tired of staring at Luciana's pretty face.

Luciana flicked Jean's forehead making the young man to frowned

"What was that for?" Jean asked.

"You're staring at me." Luciana said.

Jean pout his lips. He looked away from Luciana and just stared at the sweet pastries Luciana put on his plate. She even made him a hot cocoa.

"How have you heen living here, major?" Armin asked.

Luciana scratched the side her face. "Well...I follow do routine everyday. Work-out, clean, house chores, take care of Lucy, and do whatever I want. But also, I've learned how to bake and even play the piano...there's a piano in my home office." Luciana said.

She looked at her brother who's been so silent ever since she arrived. Levi's just staring at her with his scary and intimidating stare. Levi frowned and rolled his eyes at his sister. The raven-haired lady smiled and shook her head. "Someone seems unhappy with my presence." Luciana jokingly said.

Levi rolled his eyes, he already knows that Luciana's talking about him. "It's not so nice to see you after six months of your disapperance, pretty young lady." Levi said with a sarcastic tone.

"Well, I'm glad to see you after six months of my disappeaeance, mister shortstack." Luciana said.

Levi glared at her for what shs called him. His sister just let out a small laugh, and at that moment, whilst he stares at Luciana laughing, he felt relieved, because she was laughing.

Luciana is happy.

"Major...you never told us about you adopting a baby." Connie spoke.

Luciana shrugged. "Should I have to?"
