chapter twenty seven

Satoru entered the classroom where the students told him to come through message on the phone. it seemed like a real deal so he would try to be serious once in a while.

plus, he still felt shitty for what he had done to Tomoe. he had not seen her since that day and he could feel himself changing.

he could not believe there would be a time where he feel like this towards a girl, and how it changed him.

it did change him to the worse. he was a bastard indeed.

back to his students, once he looked up, all of his students, including the second years Maki Zen'in, Panda and Inumaki, were presented in the room. he examined one by one, and finally on Yuji who seemed guilty over something.

"what's up ?" Satoru asked, sitting on one of the table situated in the classroom.

"we have something to tell you, regarding Tomoe."

Satoru did not react. he knew this would be a question as well, but somehow it was at the back of his mind about Tomoe turning her back at them, or more accurately, finally made her moves.

he did not know how to react. he should be more confronting with the matter, maybe tell them to be careful and devise a plan to capture Tomoe.

but, he had no word to say.

Maki raised her brows up seeing Satoru's reaction, so unlike him. she was about to continue when the door to the classroom opened from the outside rather harshly, revealing Shoko.

everyone looked at her surprised seeing her, for the first time, looked rushing.

"Satoru, i got a call from the hospital." his brows crooked that it directed towards him.

"Tomoe.. she-"

before she could finish her line, Satoru was already gone from the classroom. everyone was silent for a moment, trying to process what was happening.

"What happened to Tomoe-san ?" Yuji broke the silence, making Shoko looked at him.

"She got into an accident." His eyes widened, along with other students who did not expect that to happen.

was it part of her scheme ?

everyone was skeptical but seeing Yuji rushing out of the classroom, they remained quiet.

Satoru's eyes widened seeing Tomoe laying unconscious on the hospital bed.

her forehead was bandaged, her face scratches along with other part of her arms and legs. her skin was already clean yet her clothes shown how much blood she had lost. on top of that, he noticed some part of her face, neck and body had purple bruises on her.

a doctor seen running from another aisle towards them, and he gulped down seeing a guy suddenly appeared next to the bed, wearing a blindfold over his eyes. even so, he could feel a glare towards him asking for answers.

"are you her guardian ?" the doctor asked.

"what happened to her ?" Satoru asked, his voice visibly shaking.

"she came in the morning, but the accident happened a few hours before she was discovered lying on the road. it was a hit-and-run incident."

Satoru could feel his blood boiling from what he was hearing.

he glanced at the doctor again when he heard a heavy sigh from him.

"bruises not from the hit-and-run incident were also found on her body.." Satoru's eyes widened.

"she.. was violated in her home a few hours prior the incident, which conclude that she was on her way somewhere that lead to the accident, police has been sent to investigate." Satoru felt like his body shaking listening to the doctor.

"she was found on x road, do you know where she could possibly heading ?"

Satoru let out a breath he had been holding, his heart dampened, ripping apart at the words that continuously repeating in his mind.

she was assaulted, she was alone, she was searching for someone...

"Jujutsu Tech High..." he breathed out, feeling like he could kill anyone that dare talking to him at this moment.

it was all his fault. if he had not hurt her and stay by her side, this would not have happened.

is no one saving her in the neighborhood ?

suddenly, another rushed footsteps heard heading towards them, and it was Yuji and Kaoru.

Satoru eyes specifically went to Kaoru, who face was busted, eyes blackened, cut on his lips, and tears on the cheeks.

"Tomoe-nee-san." He sobbed, looking down and unconscious Tomoe that covered in bruise. His heart torn apart, anger surfacing, raging to beat the hell of those guys that did it to her, but it was far too late.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry for being weak." he fell on his knees as he cried like a baby, holding his hair as he continued to blame himself.

the room fell silence as the boy cried. from the look of it, it was evident that the boy tried to save Tomoe.

Satoru who had been standing frozen, hanging to his final thread that could snap him, noticed Yuji walking closer to Tomoe.

he just watched, as Yuji grazed his hand over her face, caressing her cheek with his fingers.

only then he noticed, how the eyes of the teenager were red, as if holding as much anger as he did, or maybe even greater. Satoru could feel him almost snapping as he did.

no, he did not want to admit it, but the person he was looking at right now was not Yuji.

"Gojo Satoru." the teenager's eyes moved to look him, and that when it confirmed.

It was Sukuna.

"don't stop me from what i'm about to do after this."

a deranged smile formed on Satoru's lips, veins popped on his forehead, as his eyes were as red as Sukuna did.

"enlighten me of what you have in mind."
