the unfortunate teenager seen slowly losing his grip on life, Tomoe gazed down towards the boy. she sighed and stood up, her robe was still loyal on her body.

she fixed her soft pink hair, trying to get a grip of the current situation, while also trying to play cool. the presence inside of her continued to watch her who bear no emotion.

out of nowhere, the sound of wandering cursed spirit coming from upstairs. she looked up, to see a few tiny cursed spirits seemingly moving aimlessly like a child in a stroller. it looks like they had not adapted to being the cursed spirit yet as she sensed the soul that still hanging in the body.

she eyed them with boredom in which she could exorcise as easily, but if she used her cursed energy now..

she looked down towards the fight that was going on. Yuuji and Nanami was in a good spree of attacking the cursed spirit that were to blame for everything that happened right now. her eyes fixed on the stitched cursed spirit, and she smiled.

"let's get a closer look, shall we ?"

Yuuji and Nanami continued to send the attacking spree. Nanami being himself, while even in the battle, he tried to converse with Yuuji.

"Itadori-kun, i've been reported that Tomoe is also here. where is she ?"

"what ? i don't know ! i don't see her anywhere."

Nanami took a step back with an uneasy look, clicking his tongue.

"she's a non-cursed user, an ordinary person. if she stuck here, and for too long, things won't be good for her." Nanami said, saying a white lie at Yuuji. as far as he knew, only he and Megumi known of the existence of cursed energy within Tomoe, and he alone knew that she was a cursed user.

he could not help but to think of the reason why Tomoe come here in the first place. was it truly because she was worried over Yuuji ? she started to work in Jujutsu High knowing she would, at one time, will be out in a high risk. so, judging from her carefreeness, something like these might not scare her.

but, if she was a cursed user with a guise, then that will be a problem.

right now, he cannot share this info with anyone yet. Satoru had brought her into Jujutsu High, and that guy won't do anything that stupid knowing who his enemy was.

his judgement could be wrong, but he has to see who this Tomoe first.

"Yuuji-kun ! Nanami !" both of the said boys turned at the frantic voice, and it was the pink haired medic, running for her life with a panic look on her face. Nanami looked at her in shock, but the sight of cursed spirit catching her from behind caught him.

then, he also noticed an overwhelmeing cursed energy concentration came from his opponent. his eyes widened in urgency.

'what a timing !'

"Domain Expansion."

"This woman !"

a dark sphere looming over Nanami and Tomoe, while Yuuji was frozen while watching everything unfold. it happened so fast that he could not react fast enough to assist Nanami in the domain. everything that had been taught by Satoru came rushing in his mind, and it made him angry and in fear even more.

"oi, brat." Yuuji face went even tighter when Sukuna started to speak. his breath heave heavily and his chest went up and down, walking towards the sphere and hit it from the outside. he kept hitting it, with anger that slowly gathered in one within him.

"damnit, damnit ! why am i stuck outside !" he roared in anger.

"i'll tell you how to break this domain." Yuuji sucked in his breath, containing his anger.

"why should i believe you ?" he said with venom.

Yuuji was angry, yes, but the tone Sukuna talked made him wonder. for some reason, his memory went back to that moment in the bedroom.

"why ?"

the domain had completed, and it something even Nanami could never achieve.

knowing this, he knew that his death was guaranteed. he had no problem meeting his death, he lived his life poorly until now. there was nothing for him to leave behind. his death might not any significance to others.

however, he could not help but to think he could not help the woman that stuck within the domain as well. all he knew that she was able to perform reversal cursed technique. she probably only know how to heal and no knowledge in battle.

now, he was at the end of his life, could not choose what to think. was she a good person, or a bad person. any right choice could make him either a killer or a savior. but what those would mean for a dead person.

he just did not want to live in regret.

however, now he looked at her, she did not waver one bit. in fact, she even wrapped her arms over her chest and looked at the cursed spirit way with a smile.

which one, Nanami. which one would you choose ?

then, Nanami looked at the opponent way, and his eyes widened.

the cursed spirit that only learn new things everytime he fought, amazed at everything he seen first time, like a baby introduced to the world,

was creating a face seeing something worse than an object of fear.

"w-who are you.. ?" his voice barely came out, and Tomoe just continued to smugly smiling at his way.

then, a breaking glass heard from above, all of them looked up to where the domain that has been broke from the outside by Itadori Yuuji. Nanami looked at him in shock, and even Tomoe.

and Mahito, looked astonished at the sight.

"you should know your place, fool."

the next thing he knew, his soul was ripped from the inside and scarred his body as well, spurting blood out of his body as he was just silently flaunting at the immense pain.

"w-what happened ?!" Tomoe shrieked in fear at the sight of blood pooling around the enemy, while Nanami and Yuuji focused on the enemy.

Yuuji saw the state of the enemy, quickly charged towards him to land a finishing blow, but the trickster of the cursed spirit was able to ouch on last big cursed energy to escape. in a rush, Nanami quickly went to the drain where the enemy went, but he was too late.

"Yuuji-kun !" He heard Tomoe screamed, and he turned around to see Yuuji fell unconscious.

he narrowed his eyes at Tomoe who had shaking hand over her panic and scared look.
