Chapter 3: Welcome to Kyoto

We're finally in the city. It's beautiful. Bushes with little flowers on them, tall trees, the buildings are shaped differently, but look outstanding. I mean, I saw Peach's castle, but this is awesome.

"When is the tour starting?" I asked.

Rosalina pulled the tickets out of her pocket.

"Looks like it starts at 3:30." she said.

I looked at my watch. It was 12:30.

"I guess we could pick up lunch and then check into our hotel." I said.

She thought that was okay.

We just grabbed something at a drive-thru and then once we finished, we went to check into our hotel.

The hotel was called ホテルグランヴィア京都, or in English, Hotel Granvia Kyoto.

We walked into the hotel room and it consisted of a place with two beds, a television, a closet, a nightstand, a lamp, and a mirror. Then there was a bathroom, too.

"I've got an idea of what we could do while we wait for the tour."

"What's that?"

I opened my suitcase and pulled out my Wii U, Gamepad, and Wii Remotes, and two games. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Mario 3D World.

"So...Smash Bros?"

"Yes, sure."

I plugged in the Wii U to the outlet, and connected it to the television. Then I put in the Smash Bros. disc.

I played as Yoshi, and Rosalina played as herself.

I turned her into an egg many times, and at six stock, she turned around and beat me.

"Oh, it's on."

I played as Toon Link the next round, and she continued as herself.

I kept playing pretty well. I used Toon Link's up special a lot, but not to the point where I was spamming.

I had one life and 60%, and Rosalina had one life and 38%.

I grabbed a smash ball, used Toon Triforce Slash, and won.

"Nice match. I imagine you typically play as Toon Link?" Rosalina said.

"Mostly." I said.

She then kissed me.

I looked at my watch and saw that it was a quarter til 3.

"Hey, it's 2:45. We should probably go." I said.

"Good idea."
