Why would this be so difficult? I'd been with Rosalina for 3 years, and asking her out again would be so hard? I got flowers, her favorite, to present at her door.
Come on, deep breaths. In, and out. In, and...
I knocked on her door. She opened it and crossed her arms.
"What do you have to say for yourself?"
I know for a fact I did nothing wrong, but I apologized anyway. "I apologize for my behavior at dinner last week. Can you accept my apology by taking these flowers, and taking me back?"
"Hmm. Ok, deal," she kissed my cheek, "to be honest, I've missed you."
"So, I ask another thing, would you like to—"
I felt a hit to my shoulder. I just shook it off.
"...like to go—"
Another hit came to my face, knocking me over.
"Rosalina, I know we're just seeing each other again, but you're taking this very harshly."
"What?! That wasn't me!"
I saw two black shadows in the distance. They materialized into familiar people. Me and Rosalina!! But we had black skin and hair, dark clothes and red eyes!
"Who are you?" I shouted.
"We're you, but better." the Shadow me said.
"What do you want?" Rosalina begged.
"We want to take over this land of Hyrule!" the Shadow Rosalina said.
"And you are going to be the first to be taken!" Shadow me said.
I lunged forward and forced my fist forward into Shadow me's face. I was shocked and knocked me onto my back. Rosalina helped me up.
"If you want to settle this," Shadow me hissed, "be at the summit of Death Mountain, tonight. At midnight."
They disappeared into thin air.
I know what this means. Again, I must assemble a team.
