Chapter 7: A Sleepless Night

I tried to fall asleep in my new bed in a new home. It was seemingly impossible.

I had been tossing and turning all night. It felt like it was 5:30 by now.

I looked at my clock and saw it was only 1:00.

I sighed and thought about Rosalina. I can't imagine she's sleeping too well. I decided to get up and check on her.

I peeked in and saw her awake on her computer.

I knocked on the door gently, and she allowed me in.

"Hi," I said softly. "Can't sleep either?"

"No, I can't at all. Come in."

Rosalina sat with her hair tied up, wearing a long sleeved shirt and short pj pants. I wore sweatpants and a solid green t-shirt.

"So what are you doing?" I asked.

"I've been looking at things I've been wanting to buy. Just some clothing and some jewelry."

Hmm...some of this wasn't that expensive. I could buy her these since her birthday's coming up.

"I feel exhausted but can't seem to fall asleep." she said.

"Well, maybe I could sit here with you and we could chill out until we get tired."

We had to have been talking for at least 4 hours.

She fell asleep around 5-ish.

I kissed her on the forehead and finally fell asleep when I went to my room.

Hey everyone!! Sorry for such a short chapter. I want this story to be more concise (quickly getting to the point). I am so happy that you all seem to enjoy this story. I want to thank you all so much for hanging with me through this story, because it's hard to write, but I have had a great time doing so.
