Scott pov
Beep beep beep beep beep
Ugh stop it alarm! I roll over and press the some button but whatever it was it stopped the alarm.
I only lay for about two seconds before my eyes shoot open! I cannot be late for work!
I jump out of bed and grab a quick shower. I put on black skinny jeans and my joyrich cloud nine sweatshirt. I grabbed a bagel from from the bag and ran out the door.
By the time i got to my car i had a decent amount of time. I got in my car and started down the highway.
Once i got into the city i knew there would be traffic like hell. Especially this time of moring. I kept my eyes on the road. Then at this time traffic was slowing down and i might be late.
I came to another red light and then i got really frustrated. Then finely it turned green. I started but as soon as i made it to the middle a large truck smashed right into my car. I blacked out but i felt the car flip.
Mitch's pov
Doctor Grassi to ICU Docter Grassu to ICU.
I ran up the staris and bolted to ICU. Another doctor flagged me down.
"What happened? Give me all the information you have."
"Ok, 24 year old male was t-boned by a truck at 8:34 this morning. Witnesses called police. He has not been responsive and we cant keep vitals stable."
"Ok i want and IV started and i want to know his blood type and get him a blood transfusion. I also want a CT scan check for any internal damage."
"Doctor Grassi! He waking up!" I ran up to his side.
"Sir, can you tell me your name?"
"Sc-Scott H-Hoying" He said in a low whisper.
"Thank you Scott, ok we are going to take care of you, you are going to be ok!"
"GUYS WE ARE LOSING HIM!!"
The doctors took him back for emergency surgery. After the CT after finding blood filling his hart.
------------ after 7 hours of surgery ------------
"Doctor Grassi, Scott Hoying is now stable and in the ICU you have been assigned to watch him and finish his tests." Nurse Maldonado told me.
"Thanks Kirstie."
"Your welcome Mitchy." She smiled and walked off to finish assigning Doctors to patients.
I got his file and walked into his room. When i walked in i got to take a good look at him. His hair stuck up in multiple places because the bandage around his head. His gown laid lazily on his broad chest.
I opened the file to see what had to be done. Ok blood work, check for clotting and check iron levels. I went over and put my gloves on and gathered the things and put them on a small tin tray.
I cleaned his arm with an alcohol pad. Then i put the rubber band around his arm. With was quite toned and i couldn't stop myself from bitting my lip. When i put the needle in his arm he flinched a little.
"Sorry." I said sympathaticly. I started singing while i waited for the viles to fill. When they all finally filled i took the needle out and placed the gauze on his arm.
I called in Kirstie to take the blood to the lab. When i went into the room i was surprised to see him stirring awake.
"Hello Mister Hoying, how do you feel?"
"Uh,ok. Wh-where am i?"
"Your in the hospital, you where in a horrible car crash yesterday morning."
"Yesterday?"
"Yes sir."
"Ok enough with sir and mister call me Scott."
"Ok Scott well i still have other things to do for you."
"Ok go ahead."
I went around to his right side and lifted his gown. I heard his gasp.
"Oh my goodness sorry."
"Its ok you startled me and that air is cold."
I pulled up his blanket.
"Im gonna have to move it around a bunch though. I need to replace you heart moniter stickers."
He nodded and i pulled his blanket down a little. I felt him wince as i pulled of the old stickers. I could tell it was pulling out chest hairs.
Then i went to put the new stickers on. He gasped as i my hand touched his skin.
"Sorry i know my hands are cold." I continued putting the stickers on. He pulled up his blankets far.
"Cold?" I asked giggling?
"Yeah!" He said giggling back. I went and got him a heated blanket and put it on him.
"Thanks!" He said.

"Thats me gotta go!"
-----------2 days later----------------
I was walking around the ICU doing rounds when Kirstie came up to me.
"You have someone to see you!"
I went around the desk to see Scott sitting in a chair. Then he stood up.
"Hey i never got a chance to thank you. Maybe i can over lunch today?"
"Ok sure!"
