After brushing my hair, and, putting on fresh cloths, I poured myself a box Brandon Flakes, and moomoo milk, and ate while watching Tv.

Honestly, I rather watch the news cast, then ask total strangers why they were pointing at the apartment we're staying in. {And we have yet to identify the cause of the noise complaints, but three potential suspects have been apprehended this morning. In others news, the P.W.S. is issuing a warning to not use the tap water at this time due to recent contamination.}

So that's why the tap water looked a little purple. I had to rinse my mouth with bottled water after brushing, what a waste. My mom is not going to be happy about not getting her coffee. Still, it's sounds like there's nothing on the News to explain those nosy people outside.

I got some time before she wakes up, let's see what these guys want to know. I exit our home, and walk down the hallway to take an elevator. Thankfully, We only moved into the second floor. I make it outside only to be almost blinded by the sun, forcing me to shield my eyes a bit until they adjust.

Welp, time to get this over with. Hey! I don't mean to be frank, but having random people pass by your house, and point to it is a bit rude, don't you think?

You live here miss? Well..live is a strong word, more like staying over the summer so my mom can compete in the Pokemon World Tournament just south of Driftveil City. I covered my mouth before I could say more, but the damage was already done.

Thee POKEMON WORLD TOURNAMENT!? I winced at that. It's really not that big a deal guys, really. Lots of trainers compete in it. My mom is nothing special. I wouldn't say that, only the strongest trainers compete there. Even pokemon champions as well as members of the elite four of various regions come far, and why to show their strength, and talent there!

I'm suddenly thankful they can't read my thoughts cause I'm this close to blowing mom's cover. I need to steer this conversation away from this line of questioning. Look you guys have no right to be loitering around here, either explain yourselves or get lost alright.

Sometimes you got to be a little tough with people. It's just that Lisa saw a strange light coming from this apartment, and after half the neighborhood heard the screams last night, it all seemed to be... Connected? I said sarcastically finishing his sentence.

Yeah, said the girl, I presume is Lisa. I was going for my morning jog when I saw a reddish pink glow coming from the second story window that was all wavy like. When was this? Around 6:29 a.m. Why you ask?

Why were you jogging at around SIX in the morning!? That's the weirdest part, I don't. I woke up early when I heard the most awful scream, and simply couldn't go back to sleep after hearing that.  So you just went jogging while the sun was still down? I asked incredulously?

Well of course, it's not like I was in danger, I had a pokemon partner with me at all times. Criminals don't target people unless they think they're vulnerable, and I was jogging with Herdier the whole way. Why do you seem so proud of that?  I asked, more to myself then anyone in particular.

Look, I'm sorry for the mix up, but I don't recall any screaming, and I think if there was a glow like that, it would have woken me up, so sorry to disappoint, but I'll have to ask you to leave.

Well...ok, stay safe alright? Keep your pokemon with you at all times, just in case. I don't have any, I replied. Before they could respond, I closed the door on them.

As I got upstairs, my mom was awake, and looked like a mess. Melly, don't drink from the tap, there's something wrong with it. I know mom, and sorry about the coffee. She scoffed at that. It's no problem, it'll just take me a bit to wake up. I'll be ready to go faster than Houndoom chasing after a blind Sentret. I decided to watch Tv till she was done.
