"Kadabra it's been over a day, shouldn't we go recruit her already? And don't you dare say patience again, cause so help me, I will drag you to the afterlife myself."

Err...fine, if you insist, the reason we are falling back is that I got word last night that the Master was going to see if he could handle it himself first, so I laid back, and starting planning for when he failed.

"Caw, caw! You really must be delusional if you think the Master would just quit on a mission." "Kekekeh, for once we are in agreement, what makes you so sure?"

I love how you two haven't accused me of blasphemy yet, so I'll tell you that it's quite simple. After going over your reports from earlier, we are dealing with a Misdreavus, a pokemon that comes out only at night usually, and dwells in darkness during the day.

"So what?" Duskull asked. Heh, it means that our Misdreavus has a hideout during the day, and isn't simply running around. "Cut to the chase, that much is obvious already. Everyone knows that most ghost types don't like sunlight, so it's only natural that she would hide. Caw."

Ah, but here's the fun part, how many buildings, and places are abandoned in the city, hmm? "Not many, in fact I checked all of them now that you mentioned it."

That's right Duskull, and unless she's switching locations every night which is unlikely as ghost pokemon tend to anchor themselves to one place where they can feel safe.... "She's most likely living among humans then. Caw!" Murkrow finished.

*Clap, clap.* "Ok, we get it, your smart, but so then why would the master fail...oh...ohhhh" Exactly Duskull...private property.  The Master can't search every single residential house in the neighborhood, and who ever is harboring the Misdreavus is doing so willingly, and before you ask, let me explain.

Misdreavuses feed off of fear, correct? Duskull, and Murkrow both nod. Like vampire stories told to scare children, no Misdreavus could resist a good scare for long without going mad from hunger. If the pokemon was caught, it wouldn't be going out into the streets every night, so we are dealing with a wild pokemon that is somehow living with humans without anyone calling the authorities to have it removed from the premises.

A Pokemon that actively looks for humans, and pokemon to scare, and no one has reported where it is during the day. The Master wants us to find this cunning Misdreavus, and is relying on our exper...uhhh...where's Duskull?

"He left after you mentioned vampires, said something about you getting into one of your...how did he put it? Long over the top speeches?" I was almost finished...I said through grinded teeth.

Meanwhile...

"It's really true.." Buneary whispered while astonished. "When we got home from the human place called an amusement park, we were both pretty exhausted. I spent half the time in that stuffy backpack though, so I didn't appreciate it much, but when I heard this human explaining why she didn't want to catch pokemon, I started to question why I hated her so much before.

Was I being picky? I came out into the tall grass cause deep down I wanted to be found right? So why did I feel so spiteful, well mostly caused she whacked me on the head, and basically kidnapped me, so maybe I'm suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, or something.

I mean, who ever heard of a human who didn't want to become a trainer one day, and the weirdest thing of all was that weird pokemon from last night. Of course I didn't believe her completely so I stayed the extra day, just for this moment now.

To confirm for myself if she was telling the truth, or not. Even with all the evidence from last night, I still couldn't fully trust the human that woke up the next day. So I waited.
