Almost Easy

Chapter 4

"Are you sure this looks good on me?" I asked Madeline, who was helping me get ready for a party Matt invited me to.

"Are you seriously asking me that? You always look gorgeous as fuck." Madeline said.

"Thanks Madeline." I said, laughing.

Madeline smiled as I hugged her goodbye, I left her house and went to Matt's, where the party was. I was a little anxious because Val might make an appearance but I was also brave because I was strong as fuck.

"You made it!" Matt said, kissing my forehead.

"Of course I did, it's very crowded." I said, laughing.

"Jimmy went overboard and invited like half the neighborhood. Want to go somewhere more quiet?" He asked.

"Sure." I said, smiling.

We went out front on the porch and sat down on the bench.

"Finally, that loud music was killing my head." Matt said.

"I felt like if I was going to be in there any longer it would do the same to me." I said, laughing.

"Well I'm glad you made it. Apparently Val's supposed to be here soon. I really don't want her here." He said.

"I'm sure I'll knock her out in a split second." I said.

"I know." He said.

Just then we see a nice black porsche pull up, and Val and Michelle stepped out of it, looking like luxury.

"So, did Madeline show you my text?" Val asked, walking up to the door.

"Yeah, she did. I laughed." I said.

"Watch it bitch." She said.

"Don't go too far Val, you might wanna back up." I said.

"Why should I?" She asked, gaining up on me.

"Matt, can you hold my bag?" I asked.

He nodded and I handed him my bag.

"You wanted to beat me up so bad then do it bitch." I said.

She backed up. I walked closer to her then socked her right in the nose.

"What the fuck?" Val yelled.

"That's why you don't mess with me, Valary." I said.

She went back to her car as I sat down next to Matt.

"I told you that you were strong as fuck." He said.

"God damn right I am." I said, laughing.

"Why'd you actually punch her though? I thought it was some silly joke she was pulling." He said.

"Because Matt, I really like you." I said.

He smiled as I gave him a kiss. My first kiss with Matthew, it felt like a dream!
