Asthasia's P.O.V:
I look at the clock, it's already 5:45 pm. I need to see Simon, I just want to make things clear. Inaayos ko na yung gamit ko when suddenly one of mom's staff came into my office
"excuse me po ma'am Asthasia, may pinapasabi po pala yung mom mo"
"ano yun" I ask
"you need to meet one of her VIP's daw po, naghahanap ng wedding ring for his fiancé, since she's not here, pwede daw po bang kayo nalang makipag meet?" she answered
"yeah sure, when and what time ba?" -me
"ngayon na daw po, malapit na siya dito dalhin mo nalang daw siya sa shop, then ikaw na daw po bahala sa lahat" I got shocked of what she said I just say yes and she leave
Bumaba na ako para antayin lalaki, pagkalabas ko ay may tumigil na sasakyan sa harap ko, bumaba ang isang lalaki sa sasakyan at nagpakilala
"Hi, I'm Mark Laurence Hasht, I'm the one who will buy a wedding ring"
" oh I'm Asthasia Felosmo, ako yung sasama sayo since my mom is not around" I said as I smile.
He offered me to come into his car so that we go to the shop. I agreed and get in. After an hour, nakarating na kami, pinakita ko sakanya lahat ng mga wedding ring designs namin, he picked the one with small stones inside and bought it. After we finished he left and I called my driver to pick me up. While I was inside the car I tried to call Simon several times but he did not answer the phone even just once, so I made up my mind and called Vincent
/ON-CALL/
" Hello, Vincent?"
" oh, hi Asthasia why did you call?" he asks
" is Simon with you? he doesn't answer any of my calls" I said
" isn't he with you? Sabi niya he will talk to you daw" - Vincent
" hindi naman siya pumunta sa office ko, di rin siya tumatawag, where is he kaya?"
" don't think too much, I think he's just preparing a surprise" he said
" surprise for?" - me
"for you, isn't it your 4th anniversary?" I got shocked, did I just forget our anniversary?
" do you know where he is?" I ask Vincent
" Hindi eh, but I'll try to call him, I will ask Kuya Sandro too if he has any idea" he answered
" Thank you, can you just call me once you know where is he na?" -me
" yeah sure," he said. I said thank you again and I immediately hang up the phone.
Vincent's P.O.V
"Asthasia just called me and asked where is kuya Simon, do you where he is?" I ask kuya Sandro
" hindi pa ba sila nagkakaayos?" he ask me as he turn off his phone. I shook my head.
" Maybe he's with his friends, I'll try to contact them" I nodded.
Tinatawagan na ni kuya Sandro yung mga kaibigan ni kuya Simon, but still no one is answering the phone. We almost contacted Asthasia to say that we still can't contact any of kuya Simon or his friends when kuya Sandro's phone rang, it was one of his (Simon) friends, Hans, he said sorry for not answering the call, he explained that he just found out a while ago, Hans said that kuya Simon was at his house already drunk, we looked at each other and told him that we will pick him up, he agreed and hung up.
We called Asthasia and told her not to worry about kuya Simon and that he was just at his friend's house. Her voice looked so worried about him, I wish I could find someone like her...
Simon's P.O.V
/ IN THE MORNING/
I can't remember anything about what happened yesterday, I just found myself inside my room. My head hurts so much, maybe it's just a hangover. I opened my phone and found several texts and missed calls from kuya Sandro, Vincent, and Asthasia. I called back Asthasia and she answered it
/ON-CALL/
" Hello Simon? " she said in her weak voice
" What happened to you?" I asked her
" nothing, just cough, and cold" she said
" where did you go last night, are you ok? is there something wrong?" Dagdag pa niya
"shouldn't I be the one to ask you that question?" -me
" what do you mean?" so she is the one asking me that?
" who was with you yesterday" I ask her
" it's just my mo-" before she could give me a reason, I cut her words
" Forget about it, you don't need to answer," I said as I stopped the call
/END CALL/
I still can't believe that she could do that to me, I'm I not enough for her? I was thinking deeply when someone knock on my door, it was my mom.
" Is there something wrong son? why did you drink too much alcohol yesterday?" she ask me
" it was nothing mom, I just wanted to hang out with my friends" I said and smiled at her
" let's go down na, breakfast ready" I nod at her and go out together with her.
While we were eating kuya Sandro and Vincent kept looking at me, I know what was on their mind. I stand and said that I'm already done eating. I go up to my room and take a nap.
Shahara's P.O.V
We were at Asthasia's apartment watching her, she has a high fever, she can barely talk because of her cough, she's sleeping right now. Ate Ja is preparing clean water and a towel to put on Asthasia's forehead. We were so worried about her yesterday, she stays all night waiting for the call coming from Simon, she feels so guilty that she forgot their anniversary, ate Ja put the wet towel on Athasia's forehead, it's already 11 am, we saw a drop of tears coming from her eyes she is also saying sorry many times, I can feel that my tears will drop any time. We woke her up, she opened her eyes and look at us
"you're here," she said
" of course, we're here" - ate Ja answered
" don't come near to me, baka mahawa kayo" she said as she tried to get away from us, I hold her hand
"we're fine, don't worry too much, mahiga ka lang and we'll take of everything" I said, she smiled at me and thank me
" do you wanna eat na? I'll prepare" - ate Ja
" I'll help her too" - pahabol ko
" Are you both sure, di niyo sisirain yung kusina ko?" she said
" ito naman walang tiwala, anjan naman si ate Ja, she can manage it by herself" - me
" akala ko ba you'll help me" ate Ja said looking so confuse, I look and smiled at her
" kaya mo na yan, ako nalang sa hugasan " Asthasia laugh kaya nahawa na rin kami.
Ate Ja cooked tinola, mas maganda daw kasi ang sabaw sa may sakit, hindi niya niluto yung lugaw kasi masyado naman daw common yun, tsaka para sabay-sabay na din daw kami kumain. We eat and after we finished I washed the dishes.
Someone knocked at the door while I'm busy washing, ate Janice opened the door
" You're here" I said. I looked at Asthasia
" nandito ka na" she smiled as tears drop from her eyes down to her cheeks
