The tall man walking in on his own, pushing past me, but seconds later enid coming up to the door with a wide smile on her face, unaware of the things going on.

My lips stuck in a line, my eyebrows turned down with glossy eyes out of pure fear.

Enid's smile dropping quickly at the situation at hand, tapping her shoulder quickly whispering to go get someone, anyone close by.

Turning back to the scene, negan sitting next to bea, running his finger over her drawings, almost amazed at the feel of paper.

Bea getting up quietly, shuffling her way over to the side of my body, keeping her close just in case.

"What a beautiful house you have here Carl." He laughs, almost taunting him.

Finding the strength to say something, "why are you here?" I asked sternly, trying to keep my head up.

"Well, looks like I'm your new neighbor" he gave a smile but it was cold, threatening and unwanted.

Just staring at him, my mouth hanging open at his words, "your new neighbor" engraved in my brain, still not being able to tell if it was one of his sick jokes to scare me.

Footsteps running up behind me, whipping my head around to figure out who was here.

Enid and Maggie coming through the door, Maggie's gun was the next thing you hear, everything going quiet.

"Out" was all she said.

Negan just standing there, looking around.

"I. Said. Out. Now." She spoke louder, her accent becoming louder.

Maggie walking behind him, following him out.

Letting out the breath that had been stuck in my throat, closing my eyes.

Jumping at Enid's hand on my shoulder, giving her a small sympathy smile for comfort of any sort.

Looking over at Carl, still confused on if the things negan said were true, Carl didn't look up which made guessing harder.

Silently grabbing Beas hand, quickly leaving the house, only hearing the gravel beneath our feet.

Putting my arm around Beas neck and pulling her close, hoping she'll be safe everyday.

"I need to teach you how to use a gun bea" I looked down at her.

Her face says everything for her, anxiety traveled through her, shaking her head.

Nodding at her "it's not scary, I just need you to be safe at all times, even when I'm not here" I explained.

She slowly started nodding, getting the idea.

"Now?" She asked sounding scared.

Shaking my head at her "no, not today but soon" I told her, rubbing her hair, messing it up and making it frizzy.

Making it to the place we called home for now, immediately locking the lock, in case negan was telling the truth.

Bea instantly running up the stairs to find an activity, while I quietly lay down on the couch, bringing my knees up to my stomach.

Wondering how we possibly could have gotten here and if being here was the right decision.

A soft knock coming from the door, deciding to ignore it until they were constant and getting louder and louder.

Sluggishly getting up, shuffling my feet to the door, a downturned expression on my face, unlocking the door.

Carl standing at the door message with his hands.

Opening the door wider so he could come through.

Carl now standing behind me, closing the door.

Turning towards him, "is it true?" I asked.

The only thing he did was looked up, staring into my eyes and nodding.
