"hey, it's me. i think im going to choose luke. im sorry. i really love you, i do! i don't think ill ever stop loving you. but my choice is made. im sorry. i love that you made rory, i love you! but i don't know, i just need someone that i could rely on." she conveys, then hangs up.
i hope i made the right choice.
~~~ 1 week later, in front of the diner. ~~~
"should we go in?" she asks rory.
"of course! we need some coffee!" rory answers her.
lorelai opens the door.
"hey!" luke exclaims, almost like he's surprised to see her.
lorelai smiles.
"i take it you'll have coffee?" he asks.
"you bet! hahahahah!" she says.
"okay?" he looks confused.
he starts to walk away, but lorelai taps him.
"can we go outside? we need to talk," lorelai whispers.
they walk outside.
"hey uhm, so you know what uhh- what happened with us the other day."
he says sarcastically, "yeah, i think i remember."
she tells him, "i want you to know, i chose you. it's always been you. always."
he kisses her softly.
she chuckles and whispers, "thanks for all the coffee you've given me."
"no problem, haha," he answers.
they kiss again, but it's been interrupted by taylor and his paparazzi.
"click! confirmed: luke danes and lorelai gilmore are dating! inn owner and diner owner caught kissing," taylor chuckles. "this will be a good cover picture for the stars hollow magazine!" he says.
luke grabs his camera out of his hand and throws it into the lake, knowing taylor freaking dosse never learned how to swim.
lorelai puts her hand on his chest. "yknow, chris would never had the guts to take a camera from taylor dosse and throw it in the lake."
he smiles and kisses her.
she flirtatiously says, "and he could never kiss as good as you."
~~~ wherever the hell 9 year old rory is ~~~
"caeser! pancakes and keep 'em coming pleaseee!" she ordered.
"coming right up!" he says.
"god, i wonder why im not four hundred and eighty-six pounds!" she looks at her stomach.
~~~ back to the inn owner and diner owner ~~~
"oh my god, rory! i can't believe we're here, making out, and we just left rory in there. she's 9 years old! she's a pretty good girl though." he says with care.
"damnit why do you have to be so sexy," she rushes into the diner.
"hi, mom and potential dad!" rory looks up at her mother.
"wow, such a good kid! you're just in here, eating pancakes! they're on the house, don't worry."
lorelai looks at her kid with pride.
