~~~ on the couch watching pippi longstocking with lorelai and luke ~~~
"and so olivia says that i look like a big fat cow. basically. she says this outfit looks tight on me! and im like, 'yo, youre' a skinny twig for gods sake!' but that's what i thought. i didn't actually say it. an-" she blubbers, but gets interrupted.
"hey, i love you and all, but you can't just talk through a movie," he says.
"then would this be better?" she asks, followed by a kiss.
"i haven't seen this movie before," he chuckles.
"what do you mean? we've seen this movie like- i dunno, five hundred times?" she pulls back.
"no, you have. i haven't." he states.
"oh come on," she moans.
~~~ at the bookstore with rory. ~~~
"hey, do they have any harry potter books here?" a guy her age asks.
"oh, by j.k. rowling? only of course! see, that bookshelf, by 'to kill a mocking bird'!" she informs him.
"oh thanks." he kind of smiles, as he is a grumpy guy.
"no problem. hey, im rory! you want to like, i dunno, skype or something?" she pulls a tuft of hair behind her ear.
"yeah sure. my number is 180-4946-2929," he says.
"mines 123-456-7890," she says, looking at him sweetly.
damn! she forgot to ask that cute boy for his name!
~~~ 10 minutes later, rory gets home. ~~~
"hey mom, i-" rory looks at her mom with the man who seemed more like a dad than christopher himself did.
"hey hon!" lorelai quickly parts herself off of luke, then acts as if nothing happened.
"can i borrow the laptop?" she asks, chuckling at the fact she caught her mom.
"sure," says she.
~~~ in rorys room ~~~
"two nine, two nine." she says.
she texts the cute boy.
(r stands for rory, and the first initial of the guys name is him.)
r: hey!
unknown number: hey, you rory?
r: in the flesh.
unknown number: hru?
r: well im ok, but id like to know your name, that will make me better.
unknown number: well my name's jess. jess mariano.
r: hold on, changing your name.
r: there! so you're jess, like as in uncle jess?
j: very funny.
r: i got it from my mother.
j: since you're beautiful, im guessing she is too.
r: she is!
j: wait... your name sounds familiar. rory, right?
r: how flattering, you already forgot my name.
j: your moms dating my uncle!
r: so it really is uncle jess?
