Hasen R. Walker

HASEN sat at the table eating honey nut cherrios while looking around because her mother was staring into her soul.

She bit her lip nervously, "goodmorning?" Hasen said looking at her mother

"Why was Ms.Netty grandson leaving my house at 7 in the morning?" Janet asked making Hasen choke on her cereal

"Huh?" Hasen said

"If you can huh you can hear." Her mother said waiting for Hasen to answer her question

"His grandmother didnt answer the door last night and he came here thinking Mia and Mila were woke but I was the only one up." Hasen said quickly and Janet tapped her grey nails on the table putting the cup of coffee to her lips taking a sip as she looked at Hasen

"I'm not lying Momma I swear." Hasen said

"I don't play that shit about no boy coming in my house at no damn 10 o clock at night Hasen, don't let it happen again." Janet said standing up

" I was supposed to leave him out there then." Hasen mumbled to her self

Janet turned around and looked at her daughter, "What? You said something?" Janet asked

"No momma." Hasen said getting up putting her bowl in the sink

"True was here?" Mia asked looking at them clearly eavesdropping on the situation

"No" "Yes" Hasen and her mother said at the same time

"Yes, he was had the damn nerve to be leaving out my house at 7 in the damn morning." Janet ranted

Mia looked over at Hasen who was quiet

"True was with you last night?" Mia asked and Hasen shrugged her shoulders walking out the kitchen going into her room

She grabbed her phone seeing a missed call from True.

"A bum with the throw up emoji is calling" siri repeated twice making Hasen answer the phone

"What?" Hasen answered

"I ain't piss in yo cheerios today. Why you mad?" True asked and Hasen sucked her teeth

"I'm about to hang up." Hasen said

"I'm fucking with you, what you doing?" True asked

"I don't wanna talk to you. You got me in trouble." Hasen said

"How?" True asked

"Because you left at 7 in the morning. You probably was loud too." Hasen said

"I ain't know Ms.J was gon be up at no 7 in the morning." True said and Hasen patted her hair that was wrapped in a red silk scarf with a black bonnet on top

"Mmm." Hasen hummed rolling her eyes

"Stop acting like that." True said and Hasen scrunched her face up

"Acting like what?" Hasen asked

"Like you don't wanna talk to me." True said

"I don't. bye." Hasen hung up the phone getting back under her covers, she wanted to go to sleep again until her phone dinged
