Hasen threw her book bag on the floor as she walked into the house.

She hated school already and it was only the second week

She pulled out her phone seeing if True responded but he didn't. Hasen tapped the FaceTime icon on his contact.

The phone rung before it went to connecting making her look at the phone confused

Zeddy popped up on the screen and Hasen squinted her eyes.

"Where True at? Why are you answering his phone?" Hasen asked and Zeddy looked confused

"True in jail." Zeddy responded and Hasen stayed silent

"He didn't call you? He was supposed to. I was about to call you cause I just got his phone." Zeddy explained

"Call me from where?" Hasen asked

"Jail. True is in jail so he was supposed to call you from jail." Zeddy explained slowly

"When did he get locked up? Why did he get locked up?" Hasen asked, Hasen had so many questions she just seen him about three weeks ago and now he was in jail

"If you see a number you don't know answer that. That's him. Aigh?" Zeddy said and Hasen nodded her head and Zeddy hung up

Hasen huffed going to the kitchen to grab a blue Gatorade.

Before she even got to drink it her phone rung making her put down the Gatorade and pick up her phone.

It was a number she didn't know so it had to be True

She answered and put the phone on speaker  before grabbing her Gatorade

"Hello, this is a prepaid call from True, an inmate at Rikers.. To accept charges, press 1. To refuse charges, press 5." The automatic voice instructed

Hasen clicked 1 and waited for the call to go through

"Hello" True spoke nervously, he didn't know was he was nervous to speak to her right now probably because she felt like she was going to yell at him

"Why are you in jail? How did you even get in jail? What did you even do? Like I don't understand before I left you were fine. Everything was okay. But your in jail now." Hasen ranted and True stayed quiet

"I did some bullshit.." True responded

"No fucking duh. Like please tell me why the fuck are you in jail? Like how?" Hasen spoke in disbelief

"I got a assault charge." True said and Hasen mugged the phone

"How you get an assault charge? True." Hasen asked rubbing her eyebrows

"Cause niggas be pussy and snitches." True said and Hasen sighed

"Well how long are you gonna be in there?" Hasen asked

"My lawyer got me 3 months in here but a year of house arrest." True responded

(Idk if that's possible or not, if it's not don't say nothing thx)

"You have 5 minutes remaining" the automated voice spoke and Hasen stayed silent biting on her bottom lip

"I miss you.." True broke the silence and Hasen huffed continuing to stay quiet before speaking up

"I'm so mad at you." Hasen responded sadly

"You making me feel bad bro. Just tell me you miss me back" True huffed out and Hasen frowned
