True X. Santiago

True held the nail salon door open so Hasen could go in. He trailed behind her, scrunching his nose at the strong odor in here.

True looked around, noticing it wasn't crowded. He was glad that it wasn't. He didn't want to be around a bunch of people, and he knew Hasen didn't either.

"Appointment or walk in?" The lady at the front desk asked looking at Hasen

"Appointment." Hasen responded, and the lady nodded her head, flipping through a book to find Hasen's name.

"You can go over there." The lady pointed to a lady who was already setting up to do Hasen's nails.

Hasen sat down, and True pulled up a chair to sit next to her.

"Acrylic right?" The lady asked and Hasen nodded her head yes as a response

"What color should I get?" Hasen asked, looking at True, who had his head laying on her shoulder

"I like when you wear light colors." True said, looking at his phone

"Pink?" Hasen asked, she already had pink last month but it was always her go to color.

"Get white." True said his phone started ringing, making him look at the caller ID seeing that it was his PO, Mr. White.

"I'll be back." True said, standing up, pulling his pants up in the process. He answered the call and walked out of the salon

"Yo" True answered, putting the call on speaker as his PO began speaking

"Where are you?" his PO asked.

"In Maryland." True responded pulling his hood over his head

"Why didn't you call me to tell me you were stepping out?" His PO asked and True scrunched his face up

" I'm like 5 minutes away from my home. The fuck I gotta call you for. " True stated, and Mr. White sighed deeply.

"So I can at least make an exception for where you are." Mr. White said, and True sucked his teeth

" I'm still in fucking Maryland. I took my girl to get her nails done. The nail shop ain't that fucking far. " True retorted

"Mr.Santiago I understand that. But you do know if you would've gone any further without informing me, you'd be in violation. " Mr. White explained, and True huffed

"Aigh well. I'm here for right now. " True, said.

"Do you know how long? Are you going anywhere else afterwards?" Mr. White asked,

"I don't know. We probably will. " True responded shrugging his shoulders

"Alright. Just let me know next time. " Mr. White said, making True hang up

True walked back into the nail salon. He was glad it was warm in here because it was freezing outside.

True walked back to the spot Hasen was sitting in, and sat back in the seat he was sitting in recently.

The nail lady was on Hasen's left hand, putting white gel nail polish on the last two fingers.

"You okay?" Hasen asked, looking at True. True nodded his head yes in response.

He picked up her right hand, looking at her nails.

"They dry?" True asked and Hasen nodded her head

"You should've put a T on there." True said, looking at her
