I thought I was over you
Until I saw you again today
Stirred up some feeling inside of me that I can't begin to explain.
I tried not to stare
But that deemed much harder than I expected
Then you walked over
You said "Hi."
Two simple letters made so many butterflies flutter in my belly
I tried to play it cool
I replied "Hey."
Then you walked away
Boy must I tell you, you can't begin to understand the giddy feelings you give me and the smile you bring to my face
Now I must try to get over you once more
Just to fall even harder next time
I thought I was over you
Until I began to dream of this happening
Oh how I wish it did
Then I looked up, only to see your face
You said "Hi."
I replied "Hey."
