"I'm sorry Jc..." I responded my voice shaky.
"Hey..don't be sorry. Can you tell me what made you have one of your attacks?" Jc said kissing my forehead. I looked over at Connor who looked like he was gonna pass out.
"Well. I thought about photography. I love it...but so did my mother. That's one of the only things I remember about her. Photography was her passion. She would literally take atleast one worthy picture every day." I looked at Jc and he looked like he was paying really close attention to what I was saying. I looked across the room at Connor who was now moving to the floor by me and Jc.
I continued. "The next thing I knew I was reviewing the day my mom dropped me off at the adoption center in my head. Well...not dropped more like physically pushed me into the building. I looked around the center and the first thing I noticed was the huge staircase which took my breath away at how big it actually was. It looked like something my mom would want to take a picture of. I turned around to show her the staircase when she slammed the door in my face...." My voice trailed off on the last sentence but I kept going. "I soon was put into the first adoption trial and wasn't chosen. Ms. Duece wouldn't make me do very many chores at that age. Probably because I didn't leave my bed for the first few months. I soon was roommates with Sadie and that's how our friendship blossomed. I learned about her past and she learned about mine." I smiled at the thought of Sadie.
"Well...I think we need some ice cream." Jc said while standing up with me sliding off of his lap. "What do you think Katie? Want some?" He held out his hand for me.
I smiled and nodded my head. "Sure."
I grabbed Jc's hand and he pulled me up. I then stuck out my hand for Connor. He took my hand and I helped him up.
"Group hug?" Connor asked with hope in his eyes. I smiled and nodded my head.
"Group hug.." I said and with that we hugged and were off to go get some ice cream.
-Next Morning-
"Jc please!! Don't leave me!! I need my brother. Please.." I was crying and Connor was holding me back from running to the airport gate that Jc was walking to.
"I love you Katie. Talk to you soon sister! Stay safe. Be good and don't kill Connor. He needs to be on Earth for some things." He chuckled and so did Connor. I didn't I kept crying.
"But Jc...I'm gonna miss you!!" I said. Jc was now walking back to me.
"And I'm gonna miss you Kay-Kay.." He walked to me and wrapped me into a tight hug. I cried on his shoulder.
"I love you Kay-Kay..I have to go now..." Jc said while releasing me from our hug. He was walking back to his luggage and I went to bolt towards him, but Connor pulled me back.
"Kay...he's gotta go now." Connor said while holding me in his arms.
"NO!! JC!!" I screamed so loud that everyone was now staring at me. Jc looked back at me with a smile and walked to the gate. He soon disappeared in the tunnel. I kept crying in Connor's chest.
Soon I was lifted up and Connor was carrying me out of the airport. I was so exhausted from crying so much that all I did was stare at the gate that I watched Jc disappear off into. It grew farther and farther away.
I kept thinking about how much fun me and him had in town yesterday. Connor stayed behind so it was just me and Jc for the whole day. We got kicked out of so many stores. Even Taco Bell kicked us out! It was the best day ever.
Honestly Jc is the older brother I never actually had. He spoiled me and even defended me when and old man was yelling at me for coming in his store with a crop top on. It was actually funny!!
I was eventually placed in the passenger seat of Connor's car. I didn't move until I felt my phone vibrate. I checked it..at text from Trevor.
Trev-Trev: I heard you and Jc had fun in town yesterday. ;)
Me: Yeah...he's like the bestest big brother!!
Trev-Trev: Wow!! Hold it up girl I'm the best big bro!! ;)
Me: Well I don't see you as my brother...
Trev-Trev: Honestly I don't see you as my sister....I just said that in case Con was looking at your phone.
Me: Well between me and you...I won't show him my messages..especially from you!! :)
Trev-Trev: Secret safe with me hun!! :)
Me: You are the best!!
Trev-Trev: You know it gurll!! *hair flip* :)
Me: Haha..you know how to make me smile love!! :)
Trev-Trev: That's my daily goal sweetie!! ;)
I laughed at his message and locked my phone. I listened to a song on the radio and then me and Connor arrived back home. I hopped out of the car and walked quickly to the elevator forcing Connor to run to the elevator if he wanted a ride on it with me.
He made it just in time. I just wanted to be alone for a while. I needed space to think. I miss Sadie and I wish I could just like have a one-on-one girl talk session with her right now.
I snapped back to reality by the elevator door opening and me running on instinct to the apartment door. I couldn't wait to climb in my bed.
Connor unlocked the door and I pushed past him and ran to my room and locked the door quickly. I jumped on my bed and let the tears flow.
I HATE THESE EMOTIONS!! I HATE CRYING!! I HATE BEING ALONE!! I HATE LIFE AT THE MOMENT!!
