Minho's Elimination

Haejin POV:

The heat casted on all of us from the spotlight above. My eyelashes felt heavy after the makeup artist reapplied yet another thick layer of mascara to the building pile of gunk. Flecks of dust swirled around the cold air as the air condition blasted currents of coolness. The cap that was jammed on my head was suffocating my scalp. My chest was rising rapidly as sharp, jagged gulps of air entered my lungs. My mouth was dry and itchy, my lips bleeding into the lipstick. The tightness in my growling stomach was not helping with the building tension at all.JYP PD-Nim was scribbling over his notes. How much strength it took to me stop myself from snatching the paper in his hands and ripping it into pieces.

'The member I'll eliminate is.' he paused

I crossed my fingers hard, rubbing my skin until it was on fire.

'Minho.'

'CUT!' shouts the camera man.

The staggering weight fell like rain. My shoulders finally collapsing. I let out a pained cry and started sobbing uncontrollably. Felix walked up to me and gave me a tight squeeze. 'Thank you Lix.' I muttered in english while he wiped his own tears away. 'Don't worry, he'll come back.' he said in english. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and buried myself into his embrace. I blushed when his tiny hands laced around mine and found him grinning at me. Our eyes locked for a brief second and we both giggled awkwardly.

'Hey it's okay, I'm fine. Go and achieve your dreams okay?' we turned over to see Minho comforting Jeongin. He continued to say that to all the members. He stepped in front of me and Felix took that as a cue to leave. He cried into my shoulders. 'Sorry Hae, I should've listened to you.' he whispers.

'It's okay Min. Never blame yourself. Things are going to get better. I promise.' I whispered.

He swallowed and nodded at me.

'I thought that I wasn't a good hyung because the younger ones and you have been looking after me instead.' he blurted out.

'Huh?' I said. 'When you asked me what's wrong yesterday.' he choked out. 'So you were ashamed about that?' I asked hesitantly. He nodded sadly and looked down at his feet. 'Oh Min.' I gushed suddenly and hugged him tenderly. He hugged back instantly, in hopes of fixing what happened yesterday.

Hyunjin's POV:

My heart felt heavy when I saw Haejin crying in Felix's embrace. Of course I felt bad for her since she's crying but the fact that it's Felix comforting her just bugs me. I set my jaw and looked away from those two when I saw Haejin's red cheeks. 

'Take care of Haejin for me.' Minho hyung suddenly said and patted me on the back. 'What?' I gasped while my face flushed. 'You seem to be her favourite other than me.' he concluded. 'Hyung.' was all I could say before I started crying too. 

Too shocked for words.

Am I really her "Favourite"?

The word has a nice ring to it.

I like it.
