JYPE Criticised for gender inequality after Stray Kids I AM YOU Fan-sign

As the new and successful rookie in the K-pop industry, the new 4th Gen co-ed group Stray Kids hosted their first Fan-sign after debuting under JYP entertainment. STAYs, their fanbase was super excited to finally meet the members in real life so it was no doubt that the album sales peaked after the event was announced. Of course, the members looked stunning as usual with the group's unique visuals. The 9 members didn't fail to entertain the fans with their rap and live singing. 

This highly anticipated event was very successful but unfortunately still faced heavy backlash as JYP was accused of gender inequality as the only female member BAE HAEJIN was harassed and physically harmed by a past JYP trainee. It's rumoured that the trainee was forced to leave JYPE after bullying and harming the Stray Kids members during the survival show era along with some members of JYPE's new girl group ITZY.

Past staff members from the company have also leaked information about the trainee circling a girl named Park Jaechu and the reasons for her leaving the company. STAY's have also found vital pieces of evidence showing that Jaechu indeed did attend the event and found out that she was a past JYP trainee on her social media pages. An image posted by her on her Instagram account the day before the Fan-sign showed her in this outfit.

The captions were written by her: "let's goooo and STAY this DAY !!!" clearly gave away the fact that she is a member of the Fan-base. Even more, what shocked fans were that Jaechu was spotted the next day in the same outfit at the Fan sign. After this post circulated across the internet, it was then deleted by the user which caused even more suspicions.

Attendees of the event who claims to be near Jaechu noticed her unfair treatment towards HAEJIN who according to the information leaked by the past staff members was heavily involved in the controversy. The following responses were tweeted by the STAY's who attended the Fan-sign.

"I was in front of a girl in yellow and noticed her lean very close to Felix and thought that was weird." - Stay A

"I recall having a girl wearing a yellow top and a black bag that was standing in line before me. Hyunjin and Lee Know seemed very pleased when she skipped them both at the event and I was wondering why." - Stay B

"One of my close colleagues worked as a photographer at the event and he told me afterwards that a girl in yellow and denim whispered something into Haejin's ears and her reaction was uncomfortable after that. She then proceeded to do what seemed to be touching her hands. He then told me that Haejin was constantly touching the area the girl touched later during the event and winced every time like it hurt a lot."  - Anonymous

To make things even worse Haejin had to leave for a few minutes during the event to what the members explained as a call from someone important. She returned shortly afterwards and the front-row fans expressed concerns that she had been crying backstage because of her slightly watery eyes. Fans were also worried because she came back wearing a long-sleeved jacket and was constantly pulling it. Blurry footages of a girl in yellow sneaking backstage was also caught and some STAYs claimed that she was physically harmed and criticised JYP for not protecting the female member since she was absent from the next few public appearances of the group.

Fans have demanded a proper explanation from the company and the Tweet #Fight4Haejin has been trending on Twitter for the public to take notice. STAY hope that a word from JYP himself will soon be released to protect the female rookie as she is still a minor in the industry and hoped that this will not happen to any other members in the future of their career.
