11:37 pm, Aether's room

'Work is so tiring..' Aether thought as he slowly starts to close his eyes. Almost falling asleep, he opens his eyes quickly. 'No time for sleep! I still have to finish this interview, then after some assignments' he thought. The poor boy was overworking himself to the point he can't even keep his eyes opened for a minute. Aether closes his eyes again but ends up falling asleep. Sleeping peacefully, he then had a nightmare. Wait! Don't go!! Give my sister back..!!!

7:30 am

The sun shined very bright this morning. Aether was still asleep, peacefully. His alarm clock started to ring. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. It woke the boy up. He rubbed his eyes gently and walked to his alarm clock to turn it off. He then went to the bathroom to get ready. Aether washed his face and then after brushed his teeth. He changed his clothes, did his hair, grabbed his backpack and phone then went to the kitchen. He grabbed a piece of bread and decided to toast it. When the toast was done, he grabbed it out of the toaster, placed it on a plate, then put butter on it. He then ate it while looking at his window. He took his last bite and then placed the glass plate in the sink gently. Aether unlocked the door and got out then locked the door again.

7:49 am, At school

When Aether arrived at school, he saw his best friends, Xiao and Xiangling. They both were talking but then saw Aether, Xiao and Xiangling looked at Aether and waved at him. Aether was staring at the ground, so he didn't see them. He decided to look up, he saw Xiao and Xiangling waving at him. He waves back and smiles. "Hey Aether!" Xiangling said, laughing. Xiao was looking at the sky, daydreaming. "Hey Xiangling. What did I miss?" Aether said. "You missed out on a lot last night! Yesterday, Xiao was dared to do the Macarena dance and it was so funny!" Xiangling said, trying to catch her breath. "I even recorded it!" "WHAT! LET ME SEE!!" Aether exclaimed. "Okay! Let me just get the video!" Xiangling said. The bell rang and Aether was upset. He really wanted to see Xiao dance to the Macarena. Xiao was up in space. Aether tapped Xiao. "Hello Xiao? Hellooo? Earth to Xiao??" Aether said. Xiao stared at Aether. "Oh.. Sorry, I blacked out." Xiao said, nervously. "It's okay, lets go to class now." Aether said, smiling. Xiao looked at Aether as he starts to walk to class with Aether besides him.

8:02, Inside the Building

AETHER'S POV

Xiao and I were walking to class together since he didn't want to leave me alone. Although I usually walk with Xiangling, she had to do a quiz. We were at my classroom door and Xiao waved at me. I waved back. He walked away, going to his class. I smiled, how cute. I walked in the classroom, only seeing 6 people. I sat at my desk and placed my books down. I opened one of them and copied down some stuff from the textbook I found in my desk. I looked up at the time. 8:10 am. The teacher should be arriving soon, and the classroom should be full of noise. I wonder what happened. Did they cancel the class? I finished copying down some notes. 8:12. I'll wait until 8:15. I closed the books and put the textbook I found in my desk back. I decided to go on my phone for a bit to see if anything happened. I got distracted and started to play some games. A girl sitting behind me tapped my shoulder with her pen. I turned around, facing her. "I'm sorry for disturbing you, but you're not supposed to be on your phone at the moment." she said. I looked confused. Usually when we wait for the teacher, we're allowed to go on our phones. I wonder why we can't this time. "Why can't we go on our phones? Aren't we waiting for the teacher?" I asked. "You didn't go to the school board? The teacher said she has a meeting with the principal and will be canceling class since the meeting is about an hour long... Ah- not to be rude!" she replied, shyly. I've never seen her in our class before. Is she new? Or am I just dumb. Oh well. "Wait.. Not to be rude or anything, but why are you and the other 5 students here?" I may have sound very dumb, but it's something I'm wondering. "Oh well, it's because we're studying or taking notes. If we're here, we have to do work. Otherwise, it's a free period." she said while taking notes from the book she has on her desk. I looked at her book. "Well, thank you for the information." I said, thankful. She nodded while reading the book. I grabbed my books and phone. I then walked out of the classroom, a bit embarrassed for asking the girl a bit too much.
