AETHER'S POV
When I rubbed my eyes, I saw Xiao right next to me. What was he doing here? Well he was sleeping and I didn't want to wake him up. I just stared at him for a while and got up to get something to eat since I was hungry. But as I got up and started to walk, I felt someone holding my wrist. I turned around and saw Xiao awake with his hand on my wrist. I felt my stomach growl and looked at Xiao, confused. What did he want? Silence took over until I said something. "Do you need anything?" I asked, trying to take his hand off of my wrist. It's not that I don't like it, it was just a bit sudden and he really is holding tight. "Come here" Xiao said. I gave him a confused look once again but walked towards him, sitting next to him. He got up and hugged me. This was all so sudden. What was happening? I hugged him back. After a few seconds of hugging, I let go of the hug and Xiao did too. "What's wrong?" I asked. "You didn't answer my texts. I thought something was wrong so I came here." he replied. It was shocking. I didn't think Xiao cared after what happened. I mean, he did run away.. But I'm not going to think about that. I got up and started to walk. "Where are you going?" Xiao asked. He started to follow me. "To get food" I answered while smiling.

Kitchen, 9:13 am
XIAO'S POV
I followed Aether to the kitchen and stared at him for a bit then I sat down at the table. I put my head down on the table and thought about some stuff. What is this? I think I'm falling in love with Aether... How do I express and confess my feelings? I don't know an answer to any of these questions.. I just ignore these thoughts and put my head back up, staring at Aether. He was really pretty.. I can't stop thinking about him.. He looked at me back and I started to feel a pink tint go on my cheeks. Aether sat next to me and the silence was loud. No one talked or even made a sound. The only sound was the spoon Aether was eating with. I broke the silence by saying "So.. How are you?" "I'm doing fine. No- great now that you're here." Aether replied, smiling. I started to blush because of his sweet reply. "What about you?" Aether asked. I thought for a while. Should I tell him how I feel? I probably shouldn't right now. "I'm doing fine. I guess" I said. Aether. Everything was nice about him. His eyes, his hair, his personality. You can't stay mad at this guy forever, can you?
END OF XIAO'S POV
The two boys sat at the table in silence. They didn't say one word to each other. Usually they would talk and the conversation would last hours and hours. But this time, the silence was loud. No one moved nor made a sound. Finally, Aether said "It's kind of awkward.. Do you want to do something?" Xiao looked at him and slightly smiled. "Sure" he replied. "What do you want to do? I have movies we can watch. Or games?" Aether said. "How about we just sit on the couch and talk about stuff?" Xiao said as he looked at Aether. "Why not" Aether replied, smiling.
9:32 am, Living room
Aether and Xiao both walked to the living room and sat down on the couch. "Soo.. What do you want to talk about?" Xiao asked, grabbing a pillow to hug. "I'm not sure... Hmm.. Maybe we can play truth or dare? We can invite our friends" Aether said. Xiao nodded since he didn't want to talk too much. He's afraid that if he talks too much, he will end up saying too much. For example, his crush. That's why he's most likely introverted. Xiao laid down on the couch and thought about school and stuff while Aether was calling Xiangling, Chongyun, Xingqiu, Venti, Keqing, and Ganyu. Aether was laughing and smiling. 'He must have a nice conversation with them' Xiao thought, hugging the pillow. The call ended and Aether looked at Xiao. "Are you okay Xiao?" Aether asked, going closer to him. "Mhm" Xiao replied. Aether started to pat Xiao's head and smiled. "They're going to come at 9:50. So we have plenty of time to talk" Aether said, still patting him. Xiao started to blush and covered half of his face with the pillow he was holding. "How's life?" asked Aether. He's always the one who asks the questions or talks first. "Life is fine. Just a bit stressed, you?" Xiao replied, moving the pillow away from his face since he wasn't blushing anymore. "It's great I guess" said Aether. Xiao sat up next to Aether and looked at him. Aether stopped patting him and looked back at him. He then smiled, making Xiao flustered. Aether laughed. They talked and talked and talked until it was 9:50 am. Their friends knocked the door. "Door's opened!" Aether yelled. The door creaks open.

AN: Omg I'm so sorry for not being active and not writing anything. I'm really really busy and exams are here still... But they're ending on Friday so hopefully I get back on my normal routine and write often! Really sorry for the short chapter too.. I wanted to let you guys know I'm alive without making another author's note. I think I write too much of those- I think next chapter will be much longer though!
