Y/n was now walking through the streets, still unbothered as ever, as she looked at the people aound her. The very place she grew up in, the very place she forgot, the very place that marked the start of her suffering. Everywhere Y/n went, her chest hurt thinking about what these people did to her. Y/n had come to a stop when she realised something. She looked at her arm and realised that she wasn't wearing an armband at all.

''No wonder, everyone was looking at me...'' Y/n blankly stated as she ran to a quiet area

''I should've just stole that soldier's one.....'' Y/n sighed as she sat down on the floor, resting her head in her hand

''Oi! Who are you!'' Someone yelled, causing Y/n to look up and she saw another soldier

Y/n's POV

''Man, either I am lucky I keep meeting soldiers or I am either unlucky since they are so fuxking annoying....

''You really wanna know?'' Y/n let out a chuckle as she looked up at the soldier, who seemed to be taken back at first but pointed his gun at her

''Get up'' The soldier sternly ordered, but Y/n sat there unamused, pissing the soldier off now

''Are you deaf? I said get up, or do you want me to make it that you never get up again?!'' The soldier threatened

Y/n sighed, she got up slowly and within seconds, she smashed her foot at the soldier's temple (lmao let me go Mikey mode now 😍), completely taking the guard by surprise, the guard crash landed on the floor, blood flowing down his temple. Y/n stood there looking at the piece of trash on the floor with a blank look on her face.

''You should've just stayed quiet....'' Y/n mumbled as she bent down and took the armband off

''Tsk! time to clean it first.....'' Y/n scoffed as she scrunched it between her fist

Y/n had now got the armband cleaned and dried up, she put it on her arm and began walking out, pretending like nothing happened. She went and sat down by the edge, looking at the water in front of her. Y/n had covered her head as she stared ahead. Y/n heard some noise, so she turned her head to the direction of the sound, there she saw traumatised enemy soldiers, but Y/n felt nothing, such sight meant nothing to her, Y/n had lost all the care in the world, she is just flowing along....Unbeknownst to her, a few kids were sat closby.

"Hey, did you hear, a Titan was spotted at the port, the Titan from that island" Udo spoke up, catching Y/n's attention now, she glanced to the side

"I heard that alright...." Falco frowned as he looked ahead

"I heard it destroyed the port...our enemy is already on our land...right besides us..." Gabi now added as she stared at the water

"We just have to find that person don't we? As someone who is going to inherit the Armoured Titan, it will be a perfect opportunity to show the world!!" Gabi now stood up with excitement in her eyes

"Hah? now is not the time to be thinking about that Gabi....a dangerous person is loose on Marley...now is the time to be serious" Falco sighed as he grabbed Gabi's hand and pulled her back down

"You just jealous because Reiner is going to give me his Titan aren't you...?" Gabi teased as she let out of a chuckle, only causing Falco to stare at her

"Whatever..." Falco mumbled

"But...is this war really necessary...? What is going to happen to us?" Falco now spoke up as he held his legs close to him, staring off into the water, taking everyone by surprise

"Why can't the world just be at peace...there won't be any need for this...I know it's inevitable....but I just wish it would end somehow..." Falco sighed

"Stop being a scaredy egg Falco..." Gabi giggled

"Huh?!! If I am a scaredy egg, you're the reckless egg, who's off switch doesn't exist at all!" Falco snapped back

"I rather be a scared egg, than be reckless and end up doing something stupid" Falco added, causing Gabi to roll her eyes

"Ughhhh, do these two ever get tired of arguing..." Zofia sighed in defeat, earning a sigh from Udo as well

"You four seem to be having fun" Someone spoke up, causing the four to turn back, Gabi got up in excitement

Y/n's eyes stayed fixed ahead as she recognised the voice, a blank look on her face. Reiner had made his way over to the four kids with a small smile. Gabi yelled in happiness as she ran to Reiner, with the others following behind. Reiner patted everyone's heads.

"Reiner! How is Commander Magath doing on the situation of that Titan?" Gabi asked, causing Reiner's eyes to slightly widen

"Investigations are still going...is all I can say.." Reiner answered with a small frown plastered on his face

"Oh, I see.." Gabi pouted as she looked at Reiner

Whilst Reiner was speaking with the kids, Y/n had slowly stood up, she put her hands on her pockets as she stared ahead. Not many people were out, so Y/n was glad about that. She turned around and stood there watching Reiner.

Reiner was smiling at the kids, when he glanced up, his eyes widened in shock at he recognised a certain individual. Reiner had finally seen Y/n after so long, what will he do now that Y/n is right in front of him?

Reiner was frozen in place as he stared at Y/n who didn't show any emotions in her eyes. Tears were threatening to come out of his eyes as he stared at Y/n. His legs seemed to have grown numb.

"Reiner"

"REINER?"

??

"REINER!!"

Reiner snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Gabi yell his name. He looked at the kids confused and they were looking at Reiner confused.

"Did you say something Gabi?" Reiner asked as he looked at Gabi

"I was saying something, but you seem spaced out... is everything okay?" Gabi asked worriedly

"Ye-" Reiner was about to finish, when he glanced back up and saw Y/n had disappeared, his eyes consequently widening

"I'll be back! You kids get home!" Reiner patted Gabi's head before he stormed off somewhere

Reiner had now ran in the direction he would've assumed Y/n had gone. He searched and searched everywhere close by, but he found nothing. Reiner's chest was now hurting as he as he ran and ran. But after some time, he found a dark alley, where he slid down the wall, exhausted. Reiner closed his eyes as warm tears flowed down his face.

"Y/n, was that really you or am I going crazy?"
