Tons of different papers scattered on her desk, various plastic junks foods scattered on the floor of her room. Her face fell asleep on the table, she was wearing thick eyeglasses. Her hair was tied back with a mongrel pencil. While her right hand is holding a pencil. Her right foot was wearing a rainbow sock, while her left foot was wearing only slippers. She slept soundly but was only awakened by her alarm. She had been asleep for less than two hours when her alarm woke her up. Furthermore, she angrily groped her cell phone while closing her eyes. She is Ayana Yares Jimenez also known as RoseBlack in writing industry. She can write any genre as she wants, she's not your type of writer to stay in just one genre.
She opened her left eye and turned off her noisy alarm clock. But less than a second later, the soprano ringtone of her cell phone rang. She really meant soprano to be the ringtone of her cell phone. Because that was the only memory of her bereaved mother. Her mother is one of the most famous sopranos in the Philippines. Her mother died due to an accident that until now has not been determined what caused and how it happened, that caused her to sulk with her father. She's mad because her mother's case has not been addressed because running as a mayor of Cebu is even more important to her father. She was angry with her father because of that, and she decided to separate from her father and live with her blood and sweat.
“Damn it!”
She angrily ruffled her hair and sprang to her feet. But she shouted in pain when her body landed on something very hard. She closed her eyes and howled in pain when she fell on the wooden floor. And crawling to pick up her cell phone to answer the call.
She answered it immediately when she finally reached it.
“Hi, morning.”
“Who's this?” she closed her eyes and look who's the caller is.
“Hi, it's Riven” his answer caused her to wake up completely and immediately get up from her fall.
But that's how she growled in pain when she felt the aching pain in her knee. She bit her lip so hard and went in front of her mirror, she just frowned when she saw her very messy hair and her big slack in her eyes.
“I'm sorry, I just woke up. You call?” she asked and began to sort out her clutter.
One of her hands is holding her cellphone that is now in her ear. While her left hand was used to clean up her clutter. She's lacked of sleep again, due of manuscripts revisions that she wanted to submit to the publishing company she wanted. Right now, it's what keeps her alive. She is a tourism graduate but due to the pandemic and many things to take care of, she lost hope of applying to the airlines she wanted to work. She preferred not to ask her father for help because she could not face him yet. Every time she sees him, she only remembers how she lost her Mother. She will admit to herself that she blames her father for the loss of her Mother.
“I just want to invite you to have dinner this afternoon at six.” Riven said.
She met Riven as a journalist she also studied. Meanwhile, as she studies as an FA, she gradually starts writing. Her writing is the second priority she wants to do. Riven was used to be her rival when it comes to writing contest at their school back then. But at times when she had nowhere to go, Riven was there ready to help her. The two have been friends for over two years. And now they have been in a relationship for four years. Riven is strong, smart, and handsome, in fact, he had a lot of experience when it comes to women before she became his girlfriend. That's not the case for Ayana, the main important for her is their future together. Riven is also her second boyfriend. But like every relationship there are ups and downs, that is really unavoidable, especially when Riven is chased by a lot of women.
