Lane: His family was rich, he spent his childhood learning how to do things for himself because he knew (unlike most rich kids) his parents weren't always gonna be there for him. At some time he had picked up a terrible sickness in which his lungs and other organs twisted themselves into terrible shapes. His parents searched for a cure using all their money to make him well again, finding a witch doctor (who was their only hope) the boy was healed. They started working to regain enough money to live, but while doing so they found out their son was blessed with a gift. He helped the community out with his new powers, the government saw this and wanted to put it to an end "no one should get anything for free" said president treeman one day very angry. Treeman hunted lane and tried to shoot him down but his soldiers missed and shot his parents. In a blind rage lane killed every soldier within a thirty mile radios, he was captured of course and put in Ira the worst prison on earth.
Daniel: as a boy he was normal no backstory or anything, he trained with kun fu masters and others, he got power hungry one day and tried to kill the president. he was captured and sent to the prison, only recently had he unlocked his ability.
Gavin: his mother died while he was at a very young age, his father fell into a terrible depression in which he neglected his son. he grew up learning how to steal, cheat, an lie. joining a gang he killed many. his father died of eating disorders he had accumulated over his time in depression. he sought s way to deal with his grief this led to him stealing happy pills, he got arrested and they found out about all the other things he had done sent him to the prison and let him be.
