after williams explains what he meant to kite they take a vote and decide that checking out some of these guys powers would be cool. "how long do you think it'll take for the others to get here" crimson asks the boy she's mind controlling "ten seconds or so" crimson stares out at the paved street waiting for one to show up "if ones a guy and he's not ugly... he's mine" crimson states waiting for the others to object "what if he's not in your age group?" asks flint "then you can blow off his head" just then a boy dressed in a black cloak walks through the entrance his face pale and eyes red "i didn't know your eyes could be that color." states kite as the boy walks up slowly toward them "take heed for ask of you once, come with me or be destroyed." williams smiles "crimson this one okay" joy overflows in crimson "yes! perfect!" she then tries to mind control him "ho-how" crimson stuttered starting to trip over her own legs "i've never seen anything like it. his friend fell easy but him he's on a level of his own."
the boy started to smile "now i'll ask you one more time surrender, make it quick i don't have all day." flint frowns "never had i met someone so stupid, we just killed at least a hundred guards for heaven's sake!" the boys arms begin to swirl with dark matter forcing everyone to step back. "i think this is going to be a hard fight" flint states bluntly "yeah no da!" crimson retorts sending her minions at the boy. the guards heads plop off a couple seconds of crimson setting them loose on the boy, only the other boy was left standing "looks like he doesn't want to hurt his fr-" the other boy falls to the ground coughing up blood, "hmm never mind." again the boy swirls his arms with dark matter "come on is that the best you can do!" kite charges up his hand in secret. "nah but first, before we kill you" crimson glares at kite "what's your name?" the boy frowns "nathaniel" kite smiles "nice to meet you nathaniel." kite says charging at him "nice try." nathaniel stabs kite in he stomach with his hand running him through whispering "again in the after life" he pulls his hand out feeling a sharp pain in his head. "ha! right in the head!" flint yells. while a body falls to the ground, soon he feels warm breath in his ear "strong good job. you almost got rid of me" surge turns into a bear and slaps nathaniel unconscious"yay! thank you thank you thank!" crimson shouts hugging surge as she turns back into human "next time please don't choose a murder."
soon after the troupe gets situated they head back to their sewer fort were they clear out a spear room and plop nathaniel right in the middle, "as soon as he wakes up, it's interrogation time." states williams.
in the city a tall man dressed in gray stands before a group of people "he has captured our best" the man says "i want you all to work together to kill them."
