Chapter 7

    "What?" I ask as the man slowly looks up and invites me inside I look at the bees stopping once I get to the poarch and I slowly walk inside. Caine slowly follows, I get led into the living room and sat in a chair, a few bees came around my hand and I started moving my hand around having them follow. Kiza comes from the kitchen with a drink and places it on the side table next to me. "Your Majesty." She says politely as she sets the glass down. I notice her eyes glow like her dads in the light, I smile at her and look at Caine then back to Kiza "Uh, thank you" I say with slight confusion. She smiles and starts to walk off, "I'll go to town to pick up some groceries for dinner." She says, she stops in the doorway and starts to cough her father quick to reply. "I'll go" he says, "I'm fine, Dad" she assures him and leaves.

    Stinger has a box in hand and sets in on the side table next to me, "Ok. Right. Let's have a look at you" he says to Caine, he stands up and starts to un-velcro his tank top until it fully comes off, to reveal his defined chest, and abdomen. As he turns I see 2 large welt looking scars on his back. I gasped upon the sight "what happened" I said quietly to myself. "It's not pretty is it? Clipped and Stripped. The mark of a court-martialed Skyjacker." Stinger said walking towards Caine, Caine ignored the previous statement. "You still haven't answered my question. Do you want your wings back or not?" Caine asks him.

    "Wait, you had wings?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, "the best bio-neural-synaptic prosthetic the military could buy" Stinger replied. He then goes and rips the pad off of Caines wound, Cain groaning in response. He looks over to me and I try to hold in my laughter, I just smile and shrug my shoulders "sorry it was the best I could do." I laughed, Caine looked at me then away, Stinger then grabbed a bottle and sprayed what was in it on the wound. It started to heal up instantly right before my eyes. "Holy shit. That's amazing." I say standing up and walking over and looking at the wound but before I really could Caine turned and walked away.

    "Your Majesty has no idea of the scientific miracles that human beings are capable of." Stinger says I turn over to him, "why won't those human beings share things like this?" I ask thinking of all the help this stuff could do for the world, "sharing has never been the strong suit of your species, Your majesty" he responds. "Why do you keep calling me "your Majesty"?" I ask, still completely confused, Stinger shifted his weight to his other foot. "You've never been stung by a bee, have you?" He asked, I thought about it for a second, "uh, no. No, I don't think so."

    "Bees are genetically designed to recognize royalty." He says, starting to pack his box back up. "Royalty? Trust me I'm not Royalty." I respond, he looks over to me, "Well it's what you are. They sense it. Bees aren't like humans. They don't question or doubt. Bees don't lie." Stinger explained looking into my eyes, my phone started to ring. I was shocked because I didn't even realize I had it, I grabbed it from my pocket and rolled my eyes. It was Vladie. "Oh... I'm sorry I uh, gotta take this." I say answering the call and leaving the room, "It's life-changing, Saturn! Wait till you see this thing. Two million pixels of resolution. It's everything I ever wanted." I roll my eyes hearing what he spent money on, "Yeah, yeah that great." I say sarcastically, "um, is Mom there?" I ask hoping I could talk to her and maybe shed some possible light on this situation.

   "No, she went out with Nino. Listen, they were a little freaked out last night when you and Jupiter didn't come home. But I covered, I think it's fine." That's when it hit me, "shit. I completely forgot about Jup" I say face palming myself. "What?" Vladie asked, "Oh uh, nothing" I quickly said. "Ok. How about a little gratitude for your Cousin Vladie? I mean, this thing was a cakewalk, right? Just like I said, the easiest money we ever made. Cha-ching!" I looked around to see if anyone was listening, "Yeah about that. It didn't happen. Valdie starts to laugh nervously, "What?" He asks timidly, "No, I know. I'm sorry, I just couldn't"
