The comanding// Jupiter Ascending

Chapter 3

    I woke up to the chirping sound of the alarm clock set at the same time every morning at 4:45 a.m. "Jupiter, Saturn get up!" Our mom said Jupiter groans in response. I slowly sit up resting my head in my hand leaning against my elbows, slowly drifting back off to sleep. "Get up" she says again standing up and grabbing her blue floral robe, I slowly stand up and rub my eyes and stretch. "Jupiter. Go with your sister and make the coffee. Come on! Погнали (let's go)"

    I walk over and pull the covers off of her and start to help get her up "Come on Jupe." I say, finally getting her to sit up. "Oh I hate my life." She groans "I do too but come on we've got to at least make a living." I say getting her to stand up and throwing one of her arms around me "come on let's go get the day started" I say and he hums in response, we go downstairs and I grab the coffee grimes while Jupiter grabs the cups, the pot starts to brew and we pour the coffee and go out and deliver.

    "Hey I'm going to go take a shower then we can get ready to go" I tell Jupiter she mumbles an 'ok' as she sits and drinks her cup of coffee. I go upstairs and grab a pair of ripped dark blue skinny jeans, a grey flowy tank top, undergarments, and my black converse. I head to the bathroom and take a quick shower listening to some music on the radio and quietly singing along. I get out wrapping a towel around me and taking another one and drying my hair, then letting it fall which only sat right above my shoulders, I quickly put on a little bit of mascara, then go grab my favorite lotion out of the cabinet.

    I put some lotion on my legs and arms, then get dressed and brush my teeth, I take one final look in the mirror, my hair still slightly damp, my purple streaks in my hair starting to become prominent as my hair dries. Finally I lace up my shoes and head out throwing my dirty clothes in the hamper. I walk back to our room that we share and grab my perfume and spray some on the head down stairs and see my mom, aunt, and Jupiter just about ready. We left a little later to our boring job, days started meshing together Jupiter and I scrubbing bathrooms, dusting, sweeping, even more scrubbing. Everyday was the same. The only difference was Jupiter and I alternating between days we each took a shower.

    I once again woke up to the sound of the alarm going off at 4:45 a.m. I walked over to Jupiter to get her up. "Come on Jupe we have to get up, we have Katherine today, you know how mom feels about her." I say shaking her she just pulls the blanket over her head I sigh and quickly pull it away from her and drag her to the bathroom. "Now hurry up and take a shower, I'll go make the coffee" I tell her she just groans in response.

    I go down stairs once I'm down there. I hear the shower hitting the tub from up stairs and I smile to myself. I go and grab the coffee grimes, some water and make some coffee. After I handed out everyone their coffee I went upstairs and picked out my clothes and got dressed quickly, shortly after Jupiter came out her hair was still slightly wet. I handed her her cup of coffee and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put on a little bit of mascara.

    We left and went to Katherine Dunlevy's house and spent all day cleaning her whole house towards the end of the day Jupiter and I walked in to tell her that we were done only to see her standing in a lacy black bra and underwear looking stressed and holding dresses. "Huh, girls. Help! Please!" Katherein says urgently,

    "What's the problem?" I ask, laughing a little bit, looking between Jupiter and Kathrine. "Austin Davis is taking me to dinner, I think he's gonna ask me to marry him!" She explains frantically running around, "aww, that's so exciting." I say but Jupiter doesn't seem to agree.

    "Do you wanna marry him?" She asks, I look over at Katherine with a questioning and intrigued look. "Jupiter, he's the number-eight richest bachelor under 30 in America. He speaks fluent Chinese and German, and he was an alternate on the Olympic curling team." She says, still frantically looking at the mirror, Jupiter and I look at each other and nod at each other "Solid resume" we both say and turn back to look at Katherine.

    "I mean it sounds totally Cinderella doesn't it?" She turns and asks us. "Totally" I respond sarcastically Jupiter elbows me "Sure it does" Jupiter responds with a smile. "Then why do I feel like I'm about to throw up... Oh, God" Katherine starts to gag as she walks over and sits on her bed.

    "I don't remember Cinderella puking" I say as I stand up and walk over to Katherine Jupiter right behind me. "I kind of remember her dancing with a bunch of mice" Jupiter adds, sitting next to Katherine, Katherine shifts to look at both of us.

    "H-have you girls ever fallen in love?" I sigh "Our mom always tells us that love is just a fairy tale for little girls" I say shrugging while Jupiter nods. "That it's really just urges and obligations" she added, "wow that's kinda harsh" Katherine says looking away not knowing exactly what to say.

    "You want our advice?" Jupiter asks looking between me and Katherine "Yes... Please" Jupiter smiles at me, "if he's really in love with you, he'll understand that you are just overwhelmed" Jupiter started then looked at me. "That you need a little time to you know... Take it all in and process it" I finish, Katherine looks down obviously in thought.

    "That makes sense. Ok what do I wear now?" She asks, I laugh and grab Jupiter to help me look in Katherine's closet. "Something that reminds him what he's waiting for." Jupiter replies to the previous question, Jupiter gasps "like that red McQueen, or this little Ricci." I laugh and we look at the dresses when we hear Katherine scream and something hit the floor, I motion Jupiter to be quiet and we slowly move to see what is going on.

    We see Katherine unconscious with two silver and blue bracelets on floating, and these clear figures. The figures start to turn a tannish white and turn Katherine over and push something into her neck which in return turns red which caught the figures by surprise. I took out my phone and quickly took a picture, then Jupiter's phone rang and the figures looked over at us, the last thing I saw was a blue light then everything went black.
