As me, Kiba, Sasuke, Sai, Shikamaru and Sakura drove to the station, Sakura turned on the radio and started to sing along with the songs that played. It felt like a long drive to Sasuke who was sitting with her up front. I tried to get shotgun but he beat me to the seat and now he looked like he regretted it quite a bit. Once we got to where Shikamaru needed to be we dropped him off and then went to the station and to Kakashi's office he looked at us "back so soon?" he asked "we have news" Sasuke said "and what might that be?" Kakashi asked curiously "the guy we are looking for didn't kill Choon-Hee someone else did" I said and frowned softly. "I'll make sure to get some people on the case then" Kakashi said and nodded, we all started out of the office "oh and before I forget here" Kakashi said and handed Sai something. we all looked at it was a warrant to search a house "that's for searching Gaara's house, I hope you find something worth the search" Kakashi said we nodded and headed out.

Once we got to my house we went to his front door and knocked, after sometime the door opened I looked at the red-head "oh, hello Naruto" he said I soon held up my badge and warrant "Mr. Sabaku. we are here to search your house" I said looking at him he looked at the badge and warrant "I see, all of you?" he asked we nodded "yes, to scale the house better" Sakura said "very well" he said and let us in I put my stuff in my pocket and looked around a bit at the living room before looking around with the others Gaara sat on the couch reading. I soon walked down a short hallway that had stairs and a door in front of the kitchen I opened the door and saw that it was the basement, Sakura was checking the kitchen out, Sasuke went up stairs to search with Sai and Kiba was with me "great a basement cause there always a good sign" Kiba said "I have an attic as well if you'd prefer to search that instead" me and Kiba jumped and looked at Gaara who was behind us "yeah, I'd like to check that out. so we can cover more ground of course" Kiba said and walked off with Gaara.

'traitor' I thought and then went down the stairs turning the light on. Once I got down, I started to look around and saw that he had some pots for plants and some other things like seeds, pebbles and some garden tools. I looked at some of the things to see if I could find an important things around here after sometime I sighed and then started to go back up stairs but then stopped thinking a bit before heading back down and then checking everywhere again finding a hidden door 'of course' I thought and mentally sighed as I then tried opening it but it didn't budge I frowned and then went back upstairs finding Gaara making some tea "I would like you to open the door in the basement for me please" I said he then turned to me "I don't have the key, but you can try the ones I was given" he said and opened a drawer grabbing a things with keys on it I looked into the thing and saw that there where more keys that he didn't give me. I took the keys I was given and went to try them. None of them worked on it. Of course 'one of the others must work then' I thought and went back upstairs.

the others were in the kitchen as well "well we didn't find anything" Sakura said and sighed as I set the keys on the courter and then opened the drawer he did to get them and grabbed the other keys heading back down the others followed me and soon the door didn't opened again "damn it" I said "those keys are to my old shed" we turned around to Gaara who was drinking his tea "that's why I didn't give them to you" he said and walked back up stairs "that guy scares me" Kiba said as we headed back upstairs I turned the light off and shut the door behind me as we all walked out of the house Gaara said he would walk us out "I hope you have a good day" he said but before he closed thee door he looked at me "I'll see you later Naruto" he said and then closed the door fully. "scary" Kiba said and then looked at me "I guess Sakura should drive us back to our cars" Sai said and smiled I nodded and then looked at her she smiled and then chuckled "yeah I guess I should" she said.

we all then went back to the scene and got our vehicles heading home, I sighed as I looked at my house "Naruto" I turned my head to see Gaara standing beside me "oh, I didn't see you there" I said "what are you doing?" I asked "I figured I'd see how you where doing since yo where standing her for a while to make sure you where ok" he said and then looked at me "something on your mind?" he asked "yeah, but I'll be fine" I said and smiled he nodded "looked I hope the investigation on your house won't change our relationship, it was apart of my job" I said "I understand. a job is a job after all" he said and smiled a tiny bit at me. "If you ever want to talk over some coffee or tea we can, just come over when I'm not at work" he said and walked off "I'll keep that in mind when I need to" I said and watched him leave. I soon noticed Shukaku holding and eating something Gaara had already gone inside so I went to check it out. I looked at it but he dropped it and ran away from me. I picked it up and then looked at it a bit and saw that it was a human finger, possibly male.

I stood up shocked and then turned around to see Gaara staring at me from his back door. He was holding a trash bag, more specifically a very full trash bag. me and him locked eyes, I was still holding the finger and he was holding the trash bag. we stared at each other for a while before I dropped the finger and walked over to him "what's in the bag?" I asked getting closer, since I was in my uniform I had my gun on me "just some trash from the attic that I needed to dispose of" he said and started to walk away to the fire pit be had "here let me help you" I said "I'm alright but thank you" he said and carried it I reached for the trash bag grabbing it. it smelled horrible like someone just died. I froze thinking about it after I took it from him and then started to open it "I said-" he started but I already opened it and everything spilled out. my jaw dropped seeing all the arms, legs, fingers, eyes, and other human things the air froze as I looked at him. He stayed silent before he got up which made me reach for my gun but he noticed and took off running into the house.

I ran after him but he shut and locked the door on me forcing me to break in, I looked around and then ran around the house looking for him I noticed blood on the ground and then went up stairs checking every room in the house. I got to his bedroom and opened the door but it was locked "come out with your hands up!" I yelled and then went to call the others but the door slammed into me knocking me down. Gaara then grabbed my phone and then went for my gun but I was faster, I got it and aimed it at him ready to shot if needed he raised his hands up still holding my phone "so it was you. why did you kill them?" I asked "I didn't have a choice, I had to" he said looking at me "how do you have to kill people?" I said and then got up grabbing him "if I didn't then me and my siblings would have been killed including Shikamaru since he's in contact with us" he said I looked at him suspiciously "who forced you to?" I asked "can't say" someone said behind me. I then felt a gun press on the back of my head "let him go" the man holding the gun said I raised my hands and let him go, Gaara moved away with my phone in his hand still.

"Tell anyone about this and you and your friends will die" the man said. I turned around and then looked at him and he pushed me down the stairs. The man had brown hair. purple face paint, and brown eyes. I instantly recognized him as Gaara's older brother, Kankuro "look kid if you let us go and tell no one then I'll let you live but if you tell someone then I'll be forced to kill you, so do we have a deal? you don't tell and keep your life or die" Kankuro said pointing the gun at me "deal or no deal" he said again impatiently "deal" I said and nodded "good, now shoo" he said and of course I walked back home scared for my life 'I need to do something about this' I thought and then went inside 'I'll have to tell the others in a way that Kankuro and Gaara or even Temari can't, shit they have my phone' I thought and shook my head 'no important right now, how can I tell the others and not get killed doing so?' I thought a bit about it.

after a few hours I woke up to knocking on my door, I got up and opened it to see Sasuke there "oh, hey Sasuke" I said and let him in "hm, I came to talk to you about the case" he said and then sat down on my couch "oh yeah? find something?" I asked "yes" he said. I sat beside him "I did too" I said and looked at him "what did you find?" he asked I looked around a bit and noticed that they two next door couldn't see us but I still needed to be discreet about it. "so" I started and got some paper and a pencil out before pretending to write something important down "when we were at the house I found a fingernail that was beside the bush" I said and then started to write down what I needed him to know after I stopped talking I handed him the paper which he read his face changed and then he nodded "I see I'll give things to Sakura so she can copy it for the others and hopefully we find something" he said and walked out of the house.

I sat there scared and then waited a bit before I got up to go back to bed and sleep this all off hoping that none of my friends would get hurt by the two or three if Temari was involved in this as well I hope not I thought and closed my eyes.
